Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Jason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tobey Bohan! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Bohan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bohan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bohan showed some decent athleticism there. Jason is trying to get back to full guard. Jason wants to control but Bohan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bohan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jason controls his leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bohan working over Jason with some ground and pound. Jason looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bohan trying to mount his opponent but Jason defends it. Jason wants to control but Bohan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bohan is looking to take a break and control but Jason is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bohan wants to pass the guard but Jason is defending well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jason avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bohan has closed the distance and engaged Jason in a clinch.

Jason blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jason takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Aaron Jason has been cut. Jason lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bohan backwards. Jason can't break the clinch.

Jason tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bohan smiles and moves away.
Bohan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jason tries to avoid it but Bohan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jason to the ground. Jason escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bohan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bohan working away. Jason tries to improve position but can't. Jason struggling a bit here. Bohan wants to control but Jason is keeping him busy. Bohan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Bohan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jason to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bohan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jason paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jason misses with an uppercut. Bohan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jason is looking to control Bohan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jason avoid being mounted? Bohan prevents Jason from improving his position. Jason wants to control but Bohan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jason won't allow Bohan to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bohan wants to stand but Jason has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jason controlling the position for now. Jason tries to roll over but Bohan keeps him under control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bohan keeps control of Jason as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jason avoiding damage as Bohan throws knees to the body.

Bohan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jason is trying to control but Bohan manages to pass to mount!
Jason tries to reverse the position but Bohan maintains control. Jason sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Bohan wants to stand up but Jason is controlling the position.

Jason is controlling Bohan's posture. Jason wants to get back to his feet but Bohan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bohan wants to get up but he can't break Jason's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bohan trying to control the position from guard on top but Jason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jason looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bohan content to stall in guard here. Let's hope that Bohan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jason kicks Bohan off and gets to his feet.

Bohan shoots in and bounces Jason off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jason keeping moving, preventing Bohan from controlling successfully. Jason tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bohan wants to pass the guard but Jason is keeping the position. Jason is trying to control the position but Bohan postures up. Bohan controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bohan passes Jason's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bohan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jason is trying to maintain the position but Bohan is very close to passing his half guard. Bohan is taking a breather. Jason says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jason is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bohan pulls his head out easily. Bohan scoring with strikes to the body and head. Bohan trying to control the pace. Bohan tries to stand and escape but Jason is controlling the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bohan stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jason to get to his feet. Aaron Jason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jason circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bohan is struggling to control the position. Jason takes a shot to the head. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Tobey Bohan. Jason tries to clinch so Bohan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jason looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bohan passes into half guard.

Bohan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jason looking for submissions off his back. Tobey Bohan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bohan is taking a breather. Jason says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bohan moves nicely into side control. Aaron Jason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bohan decides to stand back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Couture tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Couture tries for a takedown but De Oliveria sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Couture. Couture ducks under a wild hook from De Oliveria. Couture looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for De Oliveria! Couture controlling the position easily from mount. De Oliveria tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Oliveria regains half guard. Couture is thwarting De Oliveria's attempts to control the position. Couture content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. De Oliveria moves into full guard.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Couture doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Couture manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. De Oliveria throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

De Oliveria has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Couture is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for De Oliveria. Couture controls the position. Couture is breathing heavily. De Oliveria manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! De Oliveria wants to work for an arm triangle but Couture is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Couture wants to sweep but De Oliveria has passed to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Oliveria throws an elbow but Couture slips to the side and avoids it well. De Oliveria is working to tighten is grip on Couture's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Couture has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but De Oliveria is really squeezing tight and eventually Couture passes out! De Oliveria breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ward passes Pearce's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ward is looking to take a break and control but Pearce is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ward trying to mount his opponent but Pearce defends it. Ward sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pearce defending well though. Pearce is looking for a sweep. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sankey throws out the jab. Sankey throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Diaz catches Sankey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Dominic Sankey has been cut. Sankey tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it. A big left from Diaz misses. Sankey blocks a jab. Dominic Sankey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sankey is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Sankey circles away and we're back to standing. Diaz stuns Sankey with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Diaz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sankey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sankey misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz looks to land a combination. Sankey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sankey gets a clinch. Sankey lands a nice elbow. Sankey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Diaz counters with a three punch combo that has Sankey backing up. Sankey nods at Diaz to acknowledge the strikes.

Diaz tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sankey throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sankey has time to react. Sankey misses with a wild body shot. Diaz thows a body shot but no joy. Sankey swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a left right combination that sends Sankey crashing to the mat - Diaz wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Sankey out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marvin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McGraw throws a right hand that Marvin ducks under and follows up with a left that Marvin also avoids with ease. McGraw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marvin throws out the jab. McGraw stuffs the takedown attempt from Marvin. Marvin gets slowly back to his feet. McGraw has a takedown stuffed. Marvin gets caught flat footed, as McGraw shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. McGraw trying to control but Marvin is working from the bottom. Marvin is trying to keep McGraw in close.
Marvin wants to sweep here but McGraw controlling him for the moment. McGraw drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGraw jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Marvin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Marvin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGraw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McGraw is looking to take a break and control but Marvin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McGraw is trying to land an Americana. Eleazar wants to control the pace but Champman is squirming around nicely. Eleazar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Eleazar looking to control but Champman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
