It looks like Sunny Brook has been cut. Kai drops Brook with a beautiful combination! Brook stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kai is looking for the KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eiri Ort shoots in and bounces Franklin off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Eiri Ort has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Franklin controls Eiri Ort momentarily but Eiri Ort frees himself. Eiri Ort trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Franklin keeping moving, preventing Eiri Ort from controlling successfully. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Eiri Ort is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Franklin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Franklin has escaped and now he's on top! Eiri Ort is trying to keep Franklin in close.
