The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to clinch up. Silva drops his hands momentarily and Burns takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burns but Burns pushes him off and we're back to square one. Silva dodges the punch combination from Burns.
Silva wants to clinch. Burns keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva. Burns misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Burns shoots in but no luck this time. Burns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center. Silva is looking to clinch but Burns is avoiding it.
Burns checks the leg kick. Silva drops Burns with a beautiful combination! Burns stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

It looks like Scott Burns has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Burns as Silva shoots in. Silva throws a hook but Burns blocks it. Burns darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. Burns tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Manuel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Burns. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burns just stands there and leans against the cage. Silva jumps guard but Burns stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Burns moves away from the strike by Silva. Burns scores with a takedown into Silva's guard. Burns wants to get up but he can't break Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Silva pushes a forearm under Burns's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Burns is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willytots Jr looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Willytots Jr stops Taoka from standing up. Willytots Jr wants to control from the top but Taoka keeps moving. Taoka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Taoka throws his legs up looking for a submission but Willytots Jr uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taoka looking for submissions off his back. Taoka is staying active underneath Willytots Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Taoka trying to control but Willytots Jr postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A left and a right from Taoka both land. Nice combination.

Churchill is looking to stand back up but OKeeffe counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Churchill. OKeeffe tries to pass to full mount but Churchill defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Churchill pushes OKeeffe off looking to stand but OKeeffe dives back in and keeps control.

Beckham tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Beckham stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Anderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Beckham. Anderson shoots in and drives through. Beckham sprawls well. Beckham shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Beckham lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Anderson backs up against the cage.
Beckham gets caught flat footed, as Anderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Anderson preventing the sweep. Beckham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Beckham wants to sweep but no luck. Anderson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Anderson forces his way into half guard. Beckham is defending against the submission attempts here by Anderson.

Beckham would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Anderson trying to keep a closed guard but Beckham is proving a slippery customer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soze stuffs the takedown attempt from flint. flint gets slowly back to his feet. Soze tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and flint is able to avoid easily. Soze is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by flint. flint keeps the fight on the outside. Soze scores with a punch to the head. Soze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Soze lands in his opponent's guard. flint is looking to stand back up but Soze counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by flint. flint is refusing to be controlled, as Soze sits in half guard. flint kicks off Soze and gets to his feet.

It looks like Jean Pelham has been cut. Bailey lands a head kick. Pelham smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pelham fails to land the takedown. Bailey stuffs the takedown. Bailey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bailey lands in his opponent's guard. Bailey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bailey preventing the sweep. Pelham being controlled here, momentarily. Bailey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bailey works his way back into a safe position though. Pelham is breathing heavily. Bailey controlling from the guard. Pelham Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bailey's back instead. Bailey wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pelham avoiding Bailey 's attempts to control his hands. Bailey is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Pelham off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. You can see the frustration on Bailey's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Bailey pulls Pelham in close to his closed guard and prevents Pelham from doing any damage or advancing position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pelham drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Pelham seems to have locked his on tight now - Bailey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Pelham, as he picks up the win!
