1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geghard Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode gets the takedown into side control.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karen Grigoryan! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaets has Grigoryan up against the ropes in a clinch.
Grigoryan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Zaets pulls guard successfully.
Grigoryan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zaets swivels though and keeps the full guard. Grigoryan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zaets is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Grigoryan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Grigoryan is fighting to break Zaets's control of his arms but Zaets is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Zaets throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Grigoryan stopping the sweep attempt from Zaets. Grigoryan pushes down on Zaets's leg and manages to get into half guard. Zaets is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Grigoryan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zaets trying to control but Grigoryan postures up.
Grigoryan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zaets with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zaets pushes Grigoryan off looking to stand but Grigoryan dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Grigoryan working over Zaets with some ground and pound. Zaets looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Zaets wants to get back to his feet.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Zaets rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grigoryan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zaets tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice takedown defense from Zaets. No joy for Grigoryan on that attempt. Grigoryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Zaets sprawls well. He's pushed Grigoryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zaets fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grigoryan sprawls well initially but Zaets persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Grigoryan wants to get back to full guard. Zaets is taking a breather. Grigoryan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Grigoryan wants to get back to full guard but Zaets has passed into side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaets scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Zaets looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grigoryan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Zaets wants to finish this one by submission but Grigoryan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zaets. Zaets controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Zaets shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Grigoryan being controlled here, momentarily. Zaets trying to control the position from guard on top but Grigoryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grigoryan wants to sweep but no luck. Zaets trying to control but Grigoryan is working from the bottom.
Zaets is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Grigoryan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zaets is controlling Grigoryan's trapped leg to prevent Grigoryan from advancing to side control. Zaets tries to get to full guard but Grigoryan has control of the leg. Zaets gets back to full guard.
Grigoryan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zaets is looking to stand up but Grigoryan isn't so interested in that idea. Zaets tries to strike from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Zaets pulls Grigoryan in to control the position. Grigoryan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zaets works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Zaets is trying to keep Grigoryan in close.
Grigoryan postures up and lands a big shot to Zaets's brow.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grigoryan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Zaets rushes Grigoryan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Grigoryan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zaets pulls him back up using the underhooks. Grigoryan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zaets avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zaets checks a leg kick. Zaets stalks Grigoryan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grigoryan's face. Grigoryan staggers backwards, shaken. Karen Grigoryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grigoryan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Grigoryan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Zaets avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zaets slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Zaets trying to control the position from guard on top but Grigoryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grigoryan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Zaets is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Grigoryan wants to hit a switch here but Zaets passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Grigoryan there! Grigoryan working to try and regain half guard.
Zaets landing strikes from the mount and Grigoryan is in trouble! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Grigoryan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Grigoryan wants to get back to his feet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasily Zaets dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Zaets counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grigoryan won't be happy with that. The referee asks Zaets politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Zaets prefers to stall for the moment though. Grigoryan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zaets off and has taken his back! Grigoryan is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Grigoryan connects with a big shot to the side of Zaets's head.
Zaets tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Zaets wants to hold on but Grigoryan pushes him away. Grigoryan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zaets can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zaets gets back to half guard. Zaets avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Grigoryan. Grigoryan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Grigoryan passes to side control. Zaets tries to buck Grigoryan off but Grigoryan is having none of it. Zaets is trying to control Grigoryan's posture but Grigoryan avoids it.
Grigoryan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grigoryan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Grigoryan working the ground and pound. Grigoryan working away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. I wouldn't like to be where Zaets is right now. Zaets tries to get back to half guard but can't.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zaets throws a head kick that misses. Grigoryan misses with a takedown attempt
and Zaets counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zaets. Zaets wants to stand but Grigoryan is controlling his posture from full guard. Zaets passes Grigoryan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Zaets wants to free his trapped foot but Grigoryan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Zaets seems content to control. Grigoryan wants to get back to his feet. Zaets working over Grigoryan with some ground and pound. Grigoryan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Grigoryan is looking to improve his position.

Zaets decides to return to a standing position. Karen Grigoryan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vasily Zaets is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Grigoryan moves out of range of the leg kick from Zaets.
And that's the end of the fight! Vasily Zaets showed his dominance in that final round. Well Zaets has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
