Riesling closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Riesling goes for a takedown attempt but Voltage pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Riesling tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Voltage misses with a wild combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Voltage misses the target.
Voltage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riesling looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Voltage is fending him off so far but Riesling persists. Nope, Voltage circles away and we're back to standing.

McGimly throws a head kick but Royale moves out of range.

Royale has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McGimly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
McGimly tries to escape but Royale has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Royale is trying to stick to McGimly's back but McGimly is turning into Royale. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Royale's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by McGimly.

Power with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Power paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A chopping leg kick lands by Power.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slapping body kick lands there for Power.

Power looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bitch stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Power.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bastard utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bastard has his foot on Warner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Warner works his way back into a safe position though.

Black throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fisher blocks it with crossed arms.
Black is pressed up against the cage. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Black down to the mat. Black avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Fisher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fisher lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Johanssen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johanssen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johanssen misses with the combination.
David Johanssen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johanssen lands a jab to the head.
Johanssen jabs Liddell right on the nose. Liddell blinks but takes it well.
Johanssen lands with a kick to the temple. Liddell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.

Blood shoots for a takedown but Poki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Blood counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Blood.
Pure Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aoki Poki.
Poki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Blood gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blood is struggling to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
