Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Bakharev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fight Music. Bakharev has chosen Hatebreed - Live For This as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakharev takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Riley throws a right and a left that Bakharev avoids nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bakharev has gone for a leg lock! Riley slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bakharev's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bakharev has hold of Riley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Riley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bakharev is landing with some decent strikes but Riley is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I think Filipovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lijepa Naša Domovino. Johnstone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hardrock Hallelujah by Lordi. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A jab-cross combination lands for Johnstone and sends Filipovic crashing to the mat! Johnstone follows him down to the mat - Filipovic regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
