The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Watchdog. No joy for Dobbs on that attempt. Watchdog throws a head kick but Dobbs moves out of range.
Watchdog shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dobbs's guard. Dobbs is working an open guard so Watchdog takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dobbs scores with a one two! Watchdog had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. No joy there for Dobbs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Watchdog feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Let's hope that Watchdog has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carpathia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Carpathia looks gassed! A nice combination there by Rguy.
Rguy lands a right hook to the body.
A left and a right from Rguy both land. Nice combination. Rguy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Rguy dips to his left and cracks Carpathia with an uppercut! Bocks Rguy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rguy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rguy digs a good body shot into Carpathia's ribs. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carpathia takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rguy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carpathia at a distance.
Rguy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Carpathia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rguy lands a really nice looking cross but Carpathia seems unphased.
Rguy scores with a hook. Rguy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carpathia doesn't seem bothered though. A shot to de liver by Rguy. Beautiful body shot. Rguy dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A nice combination there by Rguy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Durin scores a takedown into full mount! Durin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hampton because Durin loaded up on that one. A nice elbow there by Durin. Durin has hold of Hampton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hampton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hampton has picked Durin up - he's going for a ride! Hampton dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Durin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hampton with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Durin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hampton has picked Durin up and slammed him! Durin can't keep hold of the triangle and Hampton manages to pass to side control! Durin pushes Hampton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hampton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Durin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
