Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joel Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time to Pretend. Lee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kung Fu Fighting kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Luka Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Luka Lee! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Luka Lee has been cut. Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Freeman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freeman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Freeman rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Lee.

Lee works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Lee lands with a left to the head. Freeman scores with a shoulder strike. Lee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Lee misses with the head strike.

Lee pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Freeman lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lee. Lee throws a knee to the head but misses.

Freeman is trying to break free. Lee crunches a lovely knee into Freeman's ribcage. Freeman tries for a takedown but Lee manages to get underhooks.

Lee prevents Freeman from breaking the clinch. Lee misses with some punches.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lee throws an elbow but misses. Lee connects with a knee to the head.
Freeman blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Freeman scores with a knee to the head.
Lee's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Freeman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A right hand to the body from Lee.

Lee looks gassed! Freeman breaks the clinch.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Freeman circles away from the clinch attempt and Freeman counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Freeman from controlling successfully. Freeman stands up and waves to Lee to follow him. Freeman looks to clinch and Lee counters with a stiff right hand. Freeman takes the fight into the clinch. Freeman lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Freeman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Freeman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Freeman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman throwing shots but missing, from side control. Lee is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Lee throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Freeman is landing with some decent strikes but Lee is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Freeman trying to control but Lee is having none of it. Lee wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Freeman has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Lee taps furiously! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Rex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Miller gets a takedown into half guard. Rex tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Miller wants to control but Rex is keeping him busy. Miller is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rex has managed to free his arm - good work. Rex wants to control but Miller is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rex gets back to full guard.
Rex thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Miller wants to control from the top but Rex keeps moving. Rex is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Miller stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rex misses with a takedown and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rex's guard now. Rex preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rex wants to sweep but no luck. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rex keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rex is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rex is keeping the position for now. Miller is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rex shoots and misses and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rex looking for a takedown. James Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Rex. Miller jumps guard and drags Rex to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rex doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Miller is keen to just control but Rex is a slippery customer. Rex slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rex is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Miller has his hands clasped together but Rex extends an breaks Miller's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rex.
