The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nosredna shoots in but Doe avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nosredna looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Doe lands a left and a right that sends Nosredna crashing to the canvas! Doe dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Sumsar Nosredna has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doe is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Doe throws a hook to the side of Nosredna's head but Nosredna sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Doe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Doe moves into the clinch. Doe lands a hook that snaps the head of Nosredna backwards. Nosredna takes a shot to the head. Doe pushes Nosredna back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Doe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Doe lands a hook that snaps the head of Nosredna backwards. Doe lands a right hand. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Nosredna is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doe pulls him back up using the underhooks. Doe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Doe looks to score with a jab to the body but Nosredna is just out of range. Doe misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doe connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Nosredna tumbling to the canvas! Doe pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Nosredna was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heilimo misses with a takedown attempt - Maseco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Maseco paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Sauli Heilimo has been cut. A nice leg kick lands there from Maseco. Heilimo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maseco throws out the jab. Maseco moves into the clinch. Heilimo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Heilimo working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Heilimo tries for a kimura but Maseco is defending well. Maseco tries to get back to half guard but can't. Maseco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maseco tries to get out of the position. Heilimo works to advance to full mount. Maseco defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Maseco tries to lock up and control but Heilimo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Maseco tries to reverse the position but Heilimo maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Heilimo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Heilimo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maseco looks a forlorn figure.

Heilimo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Maseco is working to get back to half guard.

Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Avers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Avers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Avers thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Avers will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gracie tries to move into full mount but can't pass Avers's legs. Gracie tries for a kimura but Avers is defending well. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Roogeri Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Avers is trying to get back to full guard. Avers pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Gracie stands up out of the half guard. Avers looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range. Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Avers. Gracie looks to land a combination. Avers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Avers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avers not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gracie wants to get back to full guard. Avers scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Avers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gracie is trying to control but can't.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Avers misses with a few strikes there.

Avers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the cage. Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Avers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Du throws a push kick but Karlsson slaps the foot to one side. A head kick misses from Karlsson. Du scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Karlsson doesn't seem bothered though. Du lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Karlsson sprawling to the canvas. Du follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Karlsson hang on?
It looks like Claes Karlsson has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Du not landing any meaningful shots this time. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! gale moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like christoph gale has been cut. Westwood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chuck Westwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. gale blocks a jab. Nice shot by Westwood. Westwood takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. gale has a takedown stuffed. Westwood moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! gale goes down! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Westwood moves nicely into side control. Westwood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. gale knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Westwood advances to full mount. gale looks gassed!

Westwood is landing with some decent strikes but gale is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Westwood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Westwood is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. gale can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
