Rogerio Fernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernandez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Metohkangmi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silakka slips under a jab from Metohkangmi.

Metohkangmi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Metohkangmi drops Silakka with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silakka looks back up at him and smiles so Metohkangmi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Jon Silakka has been cut.
Metohkangmi fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Silakka square on the jaw! Damn, Silakka is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Sikaniska throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Sikaniska paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Barr slips a jab and a cross from Sikaniska.

Sikaniska clinches up with Barr and pushes him back against the ropes.

Horrible takedown by Barr or perhaps it was just good defense by Sikaniska which made him look bad.

Barr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sikaniska's waist but Sikaniska gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barr off to one side.
