The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bjirke moves away from the strike by Lee. Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lee shoots for a takedown but Bjirke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bjirke is looking to clinch. Bjirke scores with a hook to the body. Lee takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Bjirke thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kitiona wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kitiona looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pesso looks gassed! Kitiona working over Pesso with some ground and pound. Pesso looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Pesso is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kitiona stalling. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kitiona's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kitiona landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kitiona is taking a breather. Pesso says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kitiona decides to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pesso tries to clinch up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kitiona. A lull in the action here as Kitiona stalls from top position. Pesso tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kitiona presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Kitiona get's back to his feet. Kitiona decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kitiona moves into full mount! Pesso won't be happy about that! Kitiona controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Kitiona. Kitiona controlling his opponent. Kitiona has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee warns Pesso that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pesso tries to improve his position but Kitiona has taken his back! Kitiona has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Pesso tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kitiona pushes Pesso away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ieyasu throws a right hand that Honda ducks under and follows up with a left that Honda also avoids with ease. Honda swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ieyasu.
It looks like Tokugawa Ieyasu has been cut. Ieyasu clinches up against the ropes. Ieyasu is looking to break free of the clinch but Honda has double underhooks. Honda wants to break the clinch but can't.
Honda wants to get back to striking at distance but Ieyasu won't allow it.
Honda is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Ieyasu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Honda wants to break free but Ieyasu has control.
Ieyasu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Honda pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ieyasu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Honda.

Ieyasu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Honda's guard. Nice move by Ieyasu! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ieyasu postures up in Honda's guard and throws a big left but Honda blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Honda wants to get back to his feet but Ieyasu passes into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Honda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ieyasu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ieyasu misses with a head kick.

Tokugawa Ieyasu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tokugawa Ieyasu's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ieyasu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Honda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ieyasu as he jumps to the side. Honda blocks a head kick by Ieyasu.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ieyasu is looking to take a break and control but Honda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ieyasu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Honda tries to kick Ieyasu off but Ieyasu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Honda punching from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Honda throws a head kick that misses and Ieyasu counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tokugawa Ieyasu seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ieyasu fails to land the takedown. Honda avoids the head kick by Ieyasu.
Honda closes the distance but Ieyasu moves to the side and Ieyasu holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Honda keeps control of Ieyasu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Honda makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ieyasu presses Honda against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Honda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Honda has his takedown stuffed and Ieyasu counters with a body kick. Ieyasu jabs at Honda's body. Honda gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ieyasu counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piston Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A telegraphed right hand from Honda misses the target. Ieyasu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Honda rather than just go for the knockout. Some wild striking there from Ieyasu.

And that's the end of the fight! Tokugawa Ieyasu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ieyasu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Kimura. Kimura lands a nice forearm strike. Kimura working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Woleman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Woleman struggling a bit here. Woleman throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Woleman is looking for a sweep. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Woleman can do anything to dispel that myth. Kimura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woleman keeps working. Woleman tries to bench press Kimura off him but Kimura keeps the position. Woleman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Kimura easily slips into full mount! Kimura is going olschool here, as he tries to force Woleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Woleman shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura avoids the attempt from Woleman to control. Kimura is landing with some decent strikes but Woleman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kimura looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Kimura has hold of Woleman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Woleman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Woleman is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Kimura working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Woleman turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hatayama jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pasquale fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pasquale. That's one minute gone in the round. Hatayama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pasquale. Hatayama lands a really nice looking cross but Pasquale seems unphased.
Hatayama is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A jab from Hatayama does it's job there.
Pasquale is rocked! Pasquale looks gassed! Pasquale keeps the fight on the outside. Pasquale shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hatayama throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pasquale stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pasquale fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hatayama throws a quick inside leg kick. A lazy left from Hatayama finds it's target. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hatayama darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Pasquale is still on wobbly legs! Can Hatayama finish him? Hatayama drops Pasquale with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pasquale! Hatayama dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braathen misses with a wild combination.
Braathen tries a low kick but Cantero avoids it. Cantero gets the takedown into side control. Braathen tries to improve position but can't. Braathen has one of Cantero's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Cantero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Braathen keeps working. Braathen tries to buck Cantero off but Cantero is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braathen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Braathen is pressing down on Cantero's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Braathen controlling Cantero's posture. Cantero is sitting in close to Braathen's body. Braathen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cantero is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cantero is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Braathen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fulton moves into the clinch successfully.
Bear ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bear no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fulton controlling from the top position. Fulton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fulton postures up.
Bear is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bear keeping moving, preventing Fulton from controlling successfully. Fulton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fulton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fulton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fulton throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fulton gets a clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Fulton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bear stalling in the clinch but Fulton improves position. Fulton decides to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fulton wants to sweep but no luck. Bear working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bear lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fulton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bear manages to get himself to full guard.
Bear will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fulton trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom. Bear trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Bear keeping full guard, as Fulton tries to pass. Bear trying to keep a closed guard but Fulton is proving a slippery customer.
Bear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bear is trying to control. Fulton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fulton regains full guard. Nicely done. Fulton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fulton looking to control.
Fulton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bear! Bear is looking to improve his position but Fulton isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Fulton there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bear working to try and regain half guard.
Fulton wants to control the pace but Bear is squirming around nicely. Bear tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bear swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Fulton is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bear has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bear flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear tries to reverse the position but Fulton maintains control. Fulton cracks Bear with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fulton goes for an armbar but Bear turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bear. Fulton looks gassed! Fulton has his foot on Bear's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bear works his way back into a safe position though. Bear missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fulton is trying to control the position but Bear postures up. Bear drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bear jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bear distracts Fulton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fulton is looking for a triangle but Bear pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bear connects with a couple of short punches. Fulton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bear can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear wants to control from the top but Fulton keeps moving. Fulton is looking to sweep but instead, Bear has passed into half guard.
Bear lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bear looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Bear there. Bear working the head and body with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fulton trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fulton manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bear trying to control but Fulton is working from the bottom. Bear wants to pass the guard but Fulton is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Paul Bear will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bear closes the distance looking to clinch so Fulton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bear throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Fulton stands and throws Bear's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fulton trying to control the action but Bear is working from the bottom. Fulton has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bear is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fulton yanks on the arm and Bear is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fulton.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tra Fulton! Tra Fulton is the new heavyweight champion!
