The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayama stuffs the takedown attempt from Stewart. Stewart gets slowly back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mayama crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stewart - the referee stops the clock and Mayama gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stewart. Mayama manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stewart shoots for a takedown but Mayama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kippo throws a right hand that Cartman ducks under and follows up with a left that Cartman also avoids with ease.
Cartman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kippo swats away the attempt to clinch by Cartman.
Cartman shoots for a double leg takedown but Kippo sprawls well. He's pushed Cartman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
