The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt avoids the head kick by Jaaranen.
Blatt fails to land the takedown.
Jaaranen shoots for a double leg takedown but Blatt sprawls well. He's pushed Jaaranen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jaaranen wants to clinch up but Blatt keeps it at a distance.
