The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grayson throws a series of punches but Brickshaw avoids them all with ease. Grayson misses with a two punch combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris clinches up with Low and pushes him back against the cage. Harris gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Low.
Harris could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Harris gets underhooks to prevent Low's takedown attempt.
Low drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tyler Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Down Low. Harris prevents the takedown attempt.
Low looking for a takedown. Harris lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Low backwards. Harris lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Harris gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Low to stand up. Harris takes the fight into the clinch. Harris tries to land knees in the clinch but Low avoids the damage to the body. Low is fighting off a takedown attempt but Harris is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Low to the mat. Low regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Harris makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Low can't keep his opponent in guard - Harris advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Harris slips a nice elbow through Low's hands, connecting with Low's forehead. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Harris connects with a nice short shot to Low's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Low's head. Low has hold of Harris's hands but Harris slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Low won't allow Harris to pass to mount. Low is not content to let Harris control the position. Low makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Low. Low looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there. Low wants to stand but Harris is controlling the position. Low keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Low fails with a takedown attempt. Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Low shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Harris counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Low!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris tries to control but Low wriggling away. Low is looking to improve his position but Harris isn't that keen on the idea. Low takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Harris landing strikes from the mount. Harris working Low over with strikes here. Harris lands with some strikes.
Low is rocked! Low keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Harris dominating with strikes here. Low is still in real trouble! Can Harris finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harris lands a heavy elbow. Low regains half guard. Low seems to have recovered his senses. Harris slips a nice elbow through Low's hands, connecting with Low's forehead. Harris controlling the pace. Low on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Harris seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Low does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Harris takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Harris wants to free his trapped foot but Low is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Low tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control. Harris seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Low is not content to let Harris control the position. Harris is working for a submission of some sort.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Low stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet. Low shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harris but Harris pushes him off and we're back to square one. Low tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Harris moves into the clinch. Harris works on Low's body with a couple of short punches. Harris has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Low clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Low turns into Harris and is now in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Low! Low slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Low moves into full guard.
Harris is posturing up here but Low has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Harris tries to roll out but it's too tight and Harris has to tap! Slick submission there by Low!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nagase is looking to take a break and control but Daigle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Masayo Nagase has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nagase throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sproles is in trouble now - Cridle has advanced to mount! Cridle throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sproles because Cridle loaded up on that one. Cridle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sproles wants to hold on but Cridle pushes him away. Sproles could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cridle quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Cridle but it's paid off an Sproles is forced to tap! Nice work by Cridle.
