1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roc Moss! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, gorgeous George! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Moss tries to clinch up. George throws out a leg kick but Moss moves out of range and George only half commits. Horrible takedown by George or perhaps it was just good defense by Moss which made him look bad. Decent striking displayed by Moss there. Moss darts in and clinches George up against the cage. Moss breaks the clinch.
Moss shoots in for a takedown and gets it. George keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Moss passes the guard and advances to mount! George really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, George creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Moss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. George looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Moss tries to clinch but George moves out of range. That was a close round but Roc Moss did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Moss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

George has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Moss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. George drives through and clinches with Moss against the cage.

Roc Moss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. George trying to land knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! SIMOES slips a jab and a cross from stern.
stern shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. stern raining down shots from the mount! SIMOES tries to hold on but stern pushes him away. stern wants to control the pace but SIMOES is squirming around nicely. stern takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. SIMOES is looking to get to half guard. SIMOES wants to hold on but stern pushes him away.

HUSTLE's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. HUSTLE works his foot free and advances to mount. DEMPSEY is bucking up trying to escape but HUSTLE cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. HUSTLE has hold of DEMPSEY's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and DEMPSEY manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
HUSTLE with good strikes from the mount here! DEMPSEY tries to hold on but HUSTLE postures up. HUSTLE stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. DEMPSEY stuns HUSTLE with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. HUSTLE feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. HUSTLE scores with a takedown into DEMPSEY's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as DEMPSEY holds on and takes a little breather. HUSTLE stands and steps away. DEMPSEY gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between ernesto geuvera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Tobin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 135lb limit. ernesto geuvera came in at 136.6 and Scott Tobin came in at 138.0 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
