The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chekov lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
King takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. King fails with the takedown. Chekov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King. A shot to de liver by Chekov. Beautiful body shot. King tries to clinch up. Chekov works King's body with a nice hook. Chekov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. King tries to clinch but Chekov moves out of range. Chekov lands a right hook to the body.
Chekov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. King tries to clinch up. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. King doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. King is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chekov lands a nice leg kick that just misses King's sensitive parts. A jab from Chekov finds it's way through King's defenses. Chekov stalks King and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into King's face. King staggers backwards, shaken. Chekov scores with a nice right hand.
Chekov's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chekov duly obliges. Good standup being displayed there by Chekov as he connects with a hook.

The referee takes a look at Ivanov to see if he's OK. Ivanov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slayveski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Slayveski lands a few punches from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ivanov on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ivanov is not content to let Slayveski control the position. Ivanov takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Slayveski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ivanov takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Kozlov feints and as Emperlianenko raises his hands in defense, Kozlov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres Jr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Torres Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Torres Jr fails in his attempt to clinch. Torres Jr misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Kilimov lands. Nice jab there from Kilimov. Ostermalm is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Igor Kilimov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ostermalm shoots in for a double leg but Kilimov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jab from Kilimov. Kilimov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Kilimov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ostermalm moves away. Ostermalm dodges the punch combination from Kilimov.

Kilimov throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Ostermalm looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kilimov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ostermalm takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kilimov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ostermalm. Ostermalm circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ostermalm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ostermalm takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kilimov thuds a left hand into Ostermalm's body. Kilimov looks to land a body kick but Ostermalm moved away. Kilimov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ostermalm has time to react.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kilimov grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ostermalm takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kilimov cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
