McQueen thows a body shot but no joy.
King misses with a body punch

and McQueen counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McQueen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
King wants to stand up but McQueen is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McQueen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McQueen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

McQueen unloads with some shots from mount but King bucks and avoids them well.
McQueen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
King is bucking up trying to escape but McQueen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
McQueen thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
King avoids a series of strikes thrown by McQueen.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McQueen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King wants to hold on but McQueen pushes him away.
McQueen is stalling here but it's allowed King to get half guard.

McQueen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King wants to get back to full guard.
McQueen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
King blocking the ground and pound attempt from McQueen.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McQueen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
King is trying to maintain the position but McQueen is very close to passing his half guard.

King lands with an uppercut that bounces McQueen off the cage and back into rage.

McQueen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

King throws a big shot that misses.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
King misses with a wild combination.
King misses with a looping left.
McQueen throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.
King throws a body punch but McQueen moves out of range.
McQueen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McQueen.
King throws a jab but it's blocked by McQueen.

King throws a jab when McQueen was well out of range.
King cracks a nice hook into McQueen's ribs.
McQueen ducks under a wild hook from King.
The fighters circle momentarily. King darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
McQueen walks straight into a right hand from King - that's dropped him! King jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McQueen from any more punishment! McQueen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
