The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Penn circles away quickly and effectively. Penn slips under a jab. Sato is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Penn shoots in but Sato avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rumina Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sato scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Penn gets back to half guard. Penn is trying to get back to full guard. Penn is in trouble now - Sato has advanced to mount! Penn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sato sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Penn tries to reverse the position but Sato maintains control. Sato content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sato cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Penn tries to hold on but Sato postures up. Sato postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Penn looks a forlorn figure.

Penn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Sato controlling the pace. Sato thows a huge punch but Penn dodges it nicely.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Valium drives through with a takedown into guard. Valium looking to pass the guard. Valium advances position into side control! Valium is trying to get an arm triangle but Durrine is defending well. Durrine looking for a sweep but Valium has passed into full mount! Oh no! Valium seems to be working for a kimura but Durrine defends the submission attempt. Valium throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durrine is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Valium pulls his head out easily. Durrine gets full guard. Durrine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Valium can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Durrine looks gassed! Valium landing some decent shots from guard. Durrine looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Valium puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Valium is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Durrine defends it well. Durrine is trying to get back to full guard.

Durrine keeping hold of Valium's head, controlling as best he can. Durrine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Valium is working away from the top position though. Durrine makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Durrine. Durrine working a defensive guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Valium is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Durrine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valium keeps working. Durrine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Valium doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Durrine. Durrine works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valium takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Durrine cracks Valium with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Durrine fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Durrine manages to capitalize on a mistake by Valium to take his back! Valium defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Durrine's arms. Durrine lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Valium hold on?!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durrine throws a series of strikes and Valium wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here. Valium is wriggling around trying to escape.
Durrine swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Valium is now in Durrine's guard. A big mistake from Durrine there, giving up the dominant position! Valium thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Durrine has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Valium has passed into side control.
Durrine can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Durrine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Valium has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Durrine is working away from the top position though.

Durrine wants to free his trapped foot but Valium is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chuck Durrine has got the better of the ground game so far. Durrine is looking for a kimura but Valium is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Durrine to get the leverage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoner misses with a wild combination.
Stoner throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely. Johnson connects with a right hand. Stoner shakes it off. A cross from Johnson lands. Johnson misses with a straight right. A nice combination there by Johnson.

and Stoner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stoner prevents Johnson from breaking the clinch. Johnson has had enough of the clinch but Stoner keeps him there for the moment. Stoner looking to stall.

and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stoner tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stoner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Johnson misses the body punch and Stoner counters with a right hand to the body. Stoner scores with a nice head shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stoner momentarily.

Torab throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Torab tries to clinch up. A combination from Apila does no damage. A head kick misses from Torab. Torab throws a sloppy head kick and Apila moves out of range easily. Apila blocks a head kick by Torab.

That's better than Apila was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Torab tries to hold on but Apila pushes him away. Apila lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
