The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mims swats away the attempt to clinch by Deshautelle. Deshautelle cracks Mims with an open hand slap. Deshautelle misses with a body shot.
Deshautelle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mims ducks under a wild hook from Deshautelle. Deshautelle wants to clinch up but Mims keeps it at a distance. Mims keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Mims counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mims cracks Deshautelle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Deshautelle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mims finish him?
It looks like Bryan Deshautelle has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Deshautelle misses with a head kick.
Deshautelle looks gassed! Mims cracks Deshautelle with an uppercut from hell and Deshautelle crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Mims's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Deshautelle working a defensive guard here.
Deshautelle has his foot on Mims's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mims works his way back into a safe position though. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragon Deux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gunther throws a head kick but Dragon Deux moves out of range.

Gunther feints and as Dragon Deux raises his hands in defense, Gunther changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gunther controls from within his opponent's guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gein connects with a right hand. Luthor shakes it off. Gein scoring well with a low kick there.
Gein shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gein was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gein looking to control but Luthor is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gein postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Luthor looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gein raining down shots from the mount! Luthor is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Luthor slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Luthor wants to improve his position but Gein is controlling well.
Gein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luthor keeps working. Gein blocks the strikes from Luthor.

That was a close round but I would say that Lex Luthor will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sackett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shears. Shears shoots in and drives through. Sackett sprawls well. Shears misses with a jab to the body
and Sackett counters with a three punch combo that has Shears backing up. Shears nods at Sackett to acknowledge the strikes. Shears swings and misses with a shot to the body and Sackett holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Shears is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sackett gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Shears. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Sackett scores with a nice short uppercut. Sackett with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Shears pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sackett tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sackett bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shears's head backwards. Sackett lands a right hook to the body.
Shears shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Sackett counter with a right hand. Sackett attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Shears throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sackett looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sackett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shears swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shears ducks under a wild hook from Sackett. Shears fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sackett misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Shears misses with an uppercut. Sackett saw that one coming. Sackett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shears. Sackett instigates a clinch. Sackett's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shears feints and as Sackett raises his hands in defense, Shears changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sackett is looking to stand up but Shears isn't so interested in that idea. Shears slips nicely into half guard. Shears is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Shears prevents Sackett from improving his position. Shears looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sackett with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shears drops an elbow to the side of Sackett's head. Shears wants to take a breather but Sackett is having none of it. Sackett is trying to stand back up but Shears is controlling him
Shears winds up and cracks Sackett with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sackett pushes Shears off but Shears dives into side control.
Shears lands some shots froms side control. Shears taking a breather here. Sackett wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shears trying to control the position but Sackett is working away. Shears is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sackett will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
And that's the end of the fight! Logan Sackett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sackett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Imgonna Yomama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Florian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yomama's entrance music is Wu Tang Clan - Shame On A Nigga. A fine choice. Florian has chosen Dean Martin - Ain´t that a kick in the head as his entrance music. Imgonna Yomama had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Kevin Florian is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yomama darts in and clinches Florian up against the cage. Yomama lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Yomama working aggressively here.
Yomama throws a punch but it's blocked by Florian. Yomama prevents Florian from breaking the clinch. A shot in the inside from Yomama. Florian can't break the clinch.
Florian wants to get back to striking at distance but Yomama won't allow it.
Florian looking to slow down the pace here. A nice left hand lands by Yomama.
Yomama tries to land knees in the clinch but Florian avoids the damage to the body. Florian manages to break the clinch.
Good leg kick by Yomama there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

No joy there for Yomama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yomama tries to clinch but Florian moves out of range. Yomama takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Oh Yomama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Florian throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Yomama is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
