Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jumba Odama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Pope! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odama tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pope swivels and escapes. Odama swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope. Jumba Odama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Odama shoots in looking for a takedown. Pope tries to sprawl out of it but Odama keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pope manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Odama swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope. Pope takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Odama shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pope pinned against the cage. Pope gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jumba Odama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pope tries to clinch but Odama moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Pope. No joy for Odama on that attempt. Pope throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Odama crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boomer Douglas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Niko Tresh! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tresh stuffs the takedown. Douglas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Douglas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tresh works over Douglas's head and body with a nice combination. Douglas dodges the punch combination from Tresh.
Tresh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Douglas just misses with a punch to the body.
Tresh cracks Douglas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Douglas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Douglas thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tresh to regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Douglas controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Douglas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Douglas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tresh keeping moving, preventing Douglas from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Douglas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Douglas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Douglas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tresh keeping moving, preventing Douglas from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Douglas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Douglas drives through and clinches with Tresh against the cage.
Douglas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tresh gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Douglas manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tresh fails to land with a series of punches.

Nice defenses there by Tresh. A lazy left from Tresh finds it's target. Tresh tests Douglas's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tresh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like Niko Tresh has been cut. Douglas shoots in and drives through. Tresh sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boomer Douglas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tresh lands a left and a right that sends Douglas crashing to the canvas! Tresh dives into mount looking to finish!
Douglas is rocked! Douglas working to try and regain half guard.
Tresh get's back to his feet. Tresh throws out a powerful jab. Niko Tresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tresh throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Douglas stumbling backwards into the cage! Douglas bounces back off the cage towards Tresh, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tresh lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tresh celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson closes the distance and clinches up with Karelin, looking for a takedown. Andersson pushes Karelin against the cage but Karelin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Andersson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Andersson fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fred Andersson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karelin misses with a wild combination.
Karelin gets a takedown into half guard. Karelin winds up and cracks Andersson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Andersson misses with some strikes from the bottom.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karelin slips a nice elbow through Andersson's hands, connecting with Andersson's forehead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andersson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karelin lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Andersson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Karelin jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! von Konkelberries waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Spector. von Konkelberries fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Spector looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. von Konkelberries throws a leg kick but Spector checks it. von Konkelberries moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Phil Spector has been cut. Spector ducks straight into an uppercut from von Konkelberries and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Spector maanges to regain guard straight away.
Spector is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spector throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Spector doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
von Konkelberries wants to get up but he can't break Spector's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Spector striking off his back but it's not causing von Konkelberries any problems. von Konkelberries is looking to stand up but Spector won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. von Konkelberries throwing strikes but missing. Spector not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. von Konkelberries cracks Spector with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. von Konkelberries cracks Spector with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That has opened up Phil Spector's cut even more. von Konkelberries bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Spector! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Spector is still in real trouble! Can von Konkelberries finish him? von Konkelberries would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. von Konkelberries throws a big right hand that misses. Spector seems to have recovered his senses. Spector trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spector can do anything to dispel that myth. Spector throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Spector keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

von Konkelberries swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Spector.
The cut above Phil Spector's eye is starting to cause him problems now. von Konkelberries drops Spector with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Spector looks back up at him and smiles so von Konkelberries waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Paul von Konkelberries is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! von Konkelberries moves in close and cracks Spector with a massive right hand! Spector, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by von Konkelberries!

Augustus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ape steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Augustus is out on his feet! Ape sets himself and nearly takes Augustus's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Power scores with a hook to the body. Hogan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hogan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hogan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Power is looking to reverse the position. Hogan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Power has escaped the position, nice work there. Hogan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Power regains half guard. Power on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Power tries to get out of the position. Power desperately trying to maintain half guard. Hogan is trying to work for a kimura but Power is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Power is doing well to control the position and prevent Hogan from advancing to side control. Power might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hogan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hogan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Power is just riding it out for now. Hogan eventually gives up the hold. Hogan looks gassed! Power wants to improve his position but Hogan is controlling well.
Hogan is trying to control. Power wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Power is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Power has a hand on Hogan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hogan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Power is looking to improve his position but Hogan isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hogan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Power has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Power is working hard here to advance position. Hogan with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hogan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Power has worked his arm free - good work by Power!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Power tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hogan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hogan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Power is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hogan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hogan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Power doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hogan. Hogan prevents Power from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Power keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Power trying to control from the bottom.
Power is looking to improve his position.
Hogan stops Power from getting back to his feet.
Hogan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Power is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hulk Hogan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hogan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A left lands for Power.
It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut. Power feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Hogan crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Tristan misses its intended target. Tristan throws a shot from downtown. Hendersson moves away and avoids it. Tristan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hendersson moves away. Tristan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tristan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hendersson's guard. Tristan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hendersson is keeping the position for now. Hendersson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Hendersson tries to kick Tristan off but Tristan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hendersson is trying to maintain the position but Tristan is very close to passing his half guard. Hendersson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Tristan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tristan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hendersson is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tristan is cranking Hendersson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hendersson! He's tightened the choke and Hendersson is tapping out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assassin dodges the punch combination from Ortiz.
Ortiz closes the distance and clinches. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ortiz. Ortiz is pressed up against the cage. Assassin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ortiz down to the mat. Ortiz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. No luck for Assassin with that takedown attempt. Ortiz misses with the combination.
Ortiz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ortiz misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Ortiz misses the target. Ortiz throws a right hand that Assassin ducks under and follows up with a left that Assassin also avoids with ease. Ortiz moves into the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Ortiz throws an elbow but misses. Ortiz throws a punch but it's blocked by Assassin. Ortiz pushes off an throws an elbow but Assassin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Assassin has Ortiz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ortiz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ninja Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ortiz tries to land knees in the clinch but Assassin avoids the damage to the body. Ortiz fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That has opened up Hannibal Barkas's cut even more. Bill lunges at Barkas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barkas's hand. Bill throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bill gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barkas won't allow Bill to sweep him here. Bill trying to keep a closed guard but Barkas is proving a slippery customer.
Barkas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bill manages to work his way to half guard, despite Barkas's best efforts. Barkas wants to pass the guard but Bill is defending well. Barkas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bill is trying to get back to full guard. Bill wants to control but Barkas is keeping busy and won't allow it. Barkas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bill! Barkas jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bill is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bill and Barkas has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Barkas working away. Bill is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Barkas is looking to take a break and control but Bill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bill is looking for a sweep. Bill sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hannibal Barkas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
