0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Haye! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masterson fails with a takedown attempt. Haye misses with a wild combination.
Haye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Masterson circles away quickly and effectively. The fight stays on the outside here - Haye looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Masterson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Haye lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Haye moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Haye gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masterson controlling from the top position. Haye keeping moving, preventing Masterson from controlling successfully. Masterson passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haye wants to get back to his feet. Masterson is looking to advance position but Haye won't allow it. Masterson moves nicely into side control. Masterson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Masterson tries for a kimura but Haye is defending well. Masterson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haye wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Masterson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Haye is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Masterson has just dragged him back down to the mat. Haye tries to bench press Masterson off him but Masterson keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Masterson tries for a kimura but Haye is defending well. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Haye is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Haye closes the distance and lands a one-two. Haye should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Masterson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Haye. Left hook, right uppercut from Haye. Haye lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Haye's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Haye duly obliges. Haye displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Haye scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Haye connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Masterson's hands. Danga de danga de dang - Haye scores with a four punch combination!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haye misses with a takedown attempt - Masterson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Haye misses with a series of wild punches.
Masterson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Haye scores with a sloppy right hand. Masterson should have avoided that one. Masterson is looking to clinch. Haye scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nice shot by Haye. Masterson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Haye circles away. Haye shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masterson pinned against the cage. Masterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Masterson tries for a takedown but Haye sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Masterson. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Masterson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Haye.

Haye throws a combination. Masterson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Haye tries to close the distance and clinch up but Masterson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Haye throws a right and a left that Masterson avoids nicely. Masterson slips a jab and a cross from Haye.
Haye shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masterson pinned against the cage. Masterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Masterson scores with a takedown into Haye's guard.

Haye can't keep his opponent in guard - Masterson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Masterson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Masterson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Masterson wants to free his trapped foot but Haye is holding on for dear life with his legs. Masterson throwing shots but Haye is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Haye blocking the ground and pound attempt from Masterson. Haye really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Masterson seems to be working for a kimura but Haye defends the submission attempt. Haye avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Masterson. Haye wants to get back to his feet. Masterson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Masterson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Haye defend it? Masterson steps over the head and cranks it - Haye is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Masterson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grbavac tries to land a leg kick but Owens saw it coming and moves away.
Owens fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Owens scores with a spinning back kick! Owens drops Grbavac with a beautiful combination! Grbavac stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Owens is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Owens shoots in and bounces Grbavac off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Owens throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Grbavac works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Owens trying to control but Grbavac is working from the bottom. Owens is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Owens throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owens stands and throws Grbavac's legs to the side, diving into side control. Owens takes a little break here. Grbavac wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Owens looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Owens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Owens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grbavac in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Owens with good strikes from the mount here! Grbavac tries to get back to half guard but can't. Owens has hold of Grbavac's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Grbavac manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Grbavac tries to hold on but Owens postures up. Owens with shots to the head and body - Grbavac looks very uncomfortable down there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Owens wants to control the pace but Grbavac is squirming around nicely. Owens has control of Grbavac's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Grbavac regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A telegraphed right hand from Green misses the target. Green looks to land a right hand but Kazama moved out of range. Danny Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kazama showed some decent athleticism there. Kazama is keen to just control but Green is a slippery customer.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fernando Augusto will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Gaeshi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Augusto moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gaeshi trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Augusto manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Augusto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gaeshi's guard. Augusto frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Augusto manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gaeshi to take his back! Gaeshi is really stuck here.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Augusto. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skeeves looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Joe looking for a guillotine here but Skeeves defends easily.
Joe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Joe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Skeeves is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Joe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Skeeves's back instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joe is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Skeeves is defending well though. Joe let's go of the attempt for now.
