Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hando Kato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Toby Chapelle! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapelle is looking to clinch. Nice takedown defense from Chapelle. No joy for Kato on that attempt. Kato scores with a nice head shot. Kato keeps the fight on the outside. Chapelle moves in looking to clinch but Kato pushes him off. Kato throws a right hand that Chapelle ducks under and follows up with a left that Chapelle also avoids with ease. Chapelle blocks a leg kick. Kato misses with a wild combination.
Chapelle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chapelle pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Chapelle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kato paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chapelle throws a nice looking combination but Kato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kato throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Chapelle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kato if he has to take too many more of those.

and Kato counters with a three punch combo that has Chapelle backing up. Chapelle nods at Kato to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kato closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chapelle is trying to stand back up but Kato is controlling him
Kato is looking to take a break and control but Chapelle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chapelle wants to get back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chapelle throws a series of punches but Kato moves out of range. Chapelle scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Kato takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kato stops Chapelle from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kato stalling away here and it's allowed Chapelle to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Good leg kick by Chapelle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Chapelle cracks Kato with a good jab. Kato ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chapelle fails in his attempt to clinch. Kato needs to keep his hands up - Chapelle had a free shot at his head there. Chapelle lands a slapping body shot.

Kato ducks under a wild hook from Chapelle. Chapelle scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Kato defending well as Chapelle loads up on a big left hand. Kato walks into a left hand. Chapelle misses with a double jab.

Kato misses with a takedown attempt - Chapelle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hando Kato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kato throws a shot from downtown. Chapelle moves away and avoids it.

Parton is looking to work some ground and pound but Touched Mi has wrist control. Touched Mi is striking off his back. Parton thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Nice strikes from Parton there. Touched Mi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Parton trying to control the action but Touched Mi is working from the bottom. Touched Mi works his way to full guard. Good work. Touched Mi has momentary wrist control but Parton slips an elbow through the middle. Parton wants to control from the top but Touched Mi keeps moving. Parton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab-cross combination lands for Neguinho and sends Fist crashing to the mat! Neguinho follows him down to the mat - Fist regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Danny Fist has been cut. Fist is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Neguinho wants to stand but Fist has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Oh Fist is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fist seems to have got his legs back now. Neguinho wants to advance to full mount but Fist doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Neguinho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neguinho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Neguinho stopping the sweep attempt from Fist. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beat Brown! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown shoots in and drives through. Cosby sprawls well. Brown stuffs the takedown. Cosby fails with the takedown and Brown counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Brown avoids the body shot from Cosby.
Cosby swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown clinches up against the cage. Cosby is looking to break free of the clinch but Brown has double underhooks. Cosby manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Cosby throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cosby has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cosby avoids the head kick by Brown.

Brown lands a shoulder strike. Cosby is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Cosby goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Beat Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Cosby will be more careful next time no doubt. Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cosby feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brown managing to control the position. Cosby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brown throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cosby avoids the body shot from Brown.

Sobral ducks under a wild hook from Bundy. Sobral staying out of range there. Sobral scores with a takedown into Bundy's guard. Sobral postures up in Bundy's guard and throws a big left but Bundy blocks it. Bundy keeping full guard, as Sobral tries to pass.
