0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Power! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power fails to land the takedown. Power shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evans as he jumps to the side. Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for Power on that attempt. Alex Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Power. Power shoots in but Evans avoids the takedown attempt easily. Power showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Evans.
Power shoots in for a double leg but Evans sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Power is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Power circles away quickly and effectively. Evans throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Power stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Evans. Evans throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Power looks for a takedown but Evans sprawls well. Evans swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Power shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evans pinned against the cage. Evans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Evans lands with a cross. Power fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Power looks gassed! Evans misses with a two punch combination.

Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Left hook, right uppercut from Evans. Power dodges the punch combination from Evans.

Horrible takedown by Power or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad. Power fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Evans throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Power has his hands clasped together but Evans breaks the hold and Power is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Evans!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Malone to the mat! Malone manages to get full guard. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Malone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Malone looking to control.
Stone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Malone looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Malone is trying to keep Stone in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone is stalling in the full guard.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stone shoots in and bounces Malone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Stone works a leg free and moves into half guard. Malone tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Stone moves into full mount! Malone won't be happy about that!

Stone is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Malone is surviving well by controlling Stone's body position as best he can. Malone wants to control but Stone is having none of it. Malone flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Malone tries to lock up and control but Stone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Malone bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stone keeping moving, preventing Malone from controlling successfully. Malone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stone works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Malone is one step ahead there.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Malone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stone not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Malone doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Stone sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ground and pound from Malone. Malone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Oliva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Oliva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Daley wants to get back to full guard but Oliva has passed into side control.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McEwan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Khalid manages to escape and get back to his feet! McEwan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khalid doesn't seem bothered though. Khalid connects with a single shot there.
 It looks like Jock McEwan has been cut. Khalid throws a shot from downtown. McEwan moves away and avoids it.
McEwan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McEwan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Khalid keeping moving, preventing McEwan from controlling successfully.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. McEwan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. McEwan working the head and body with strikes. Khalid wants to get back to his feet. Khalid is refusing to be controlled, as McEwan sits in half guard.

McEwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khalid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McEwan stops Khalid from standing up. McEwan trying to control the position from guard on top but Khalid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khalid wants to get back to his feet but McEwan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
