The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDermott fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Burnz sprawls well initially but McDermott persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burnz blocking the ground and pound attempt from McDermott.

Burnz pushes McDermott off looking to stand but McDermott dives back in and keeps control.

McDermott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Colin McDermott will probably get the nod.

McDermott is stalling here. Burnz is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McDermott seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Burnz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Bergenmesiter comes into the arena with Fuel blaring out of the sound system. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledee keeps the fight on the outside.
McMillionston should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McMillionston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lonny Ledee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hayden McMillionston.
McMillionston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ledee but Ledee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McMillionston tries to clinch there but Ledee circles away.

McMillionston moves in looking to clinch but Ledee pushes him off.

Ledee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ledee tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Ledee content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Ledee wants to stand but McMillionston has his arm trapped.
McMillionston tries to bench press Ledee off him but Ledee keeps the position.
A lull in the action here as Ledee stalls from top position.
Ledee wants to stand but McMillionston has his arm trapped.

McMillionston can't do much from the bottom here.
McMillionston is looking to regain half guard here but Ledee keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McMillionston shoots and misses

so Ledee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Ledee has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McMillionston to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ledee is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McMillionston pulls down on the head and he's put Ledee to sleep! This one is all over!
