The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - MacKinnon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Apila smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Daniel MacKinnon has been cut.
A combination from MacKinnon does no damage.
Apila cracks MacKinnon with an uppercut from hell and MacKinnon crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Apila's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
