The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans tries to bum rush Slick with a series of wild strikes but Slick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Evans tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Good shot there by Evans.
Evans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Slick takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Evans shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Evans was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Slick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Evans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slick had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Evans is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Slick Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Evans's back instead.

Well Evans has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
