6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Compton! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Compton with a jab.
It looks like John Lee has been cut. Compton lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lee backs up against the ropes.
John Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Compton misses with a wild body shot. Lee avoids the head kick by Compton.
Compton throws a big shot that misses. No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt. Lee shoots in and drives through. Compton sprawls well. Compton scores with a jab. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Compton's waist but Compton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee ducks under a wild hook from Compton. Compton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee fails to land the takedown. Compton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Compton shows good takedown defense. Compton throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. Compton throws a looping overhand right but Lee ducks down to avoid it. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Compton's waist but Compton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Lee is breathing heavily. Compton cracks Lee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Compton throws a jab when Lee was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Compton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Compton stuffs the takedown. Compton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Lee gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lee is rocked! Compton drops Lee with a straight right hand, right on the button! Compton follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin LaFleche! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chips Salsa! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salsa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaFleche throws out the jab. LaFleche misses with an uppercut. Salsa misses with a takedown attempt - LaFleche sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown by Salsa or perhaps it was just good defense by LaFleche which made him look bad. LaFleche closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Salsa is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but LaFleche pulls his head out easily. LaFleche wants to control but Salsa is keeping him busy. LaFleche throws a strike but Salsa avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Salsa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. LaFleche trying to control the position from guard on top but Salsa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salsa keeping full guard, as LaFleche tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salsa tries to land a sweep but no joy. LaFleche trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. LaFleche throws a hook to the side of Salsa's head but Salsa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Salsa wants to clinch up but LaFleche keeps it at a distance. Salsa wants to clinch. LaFleche walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Salsa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Salsa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from LaFleche. A slow jab from Salsa misses its intended target. LaFleche throws a right and a left that Salsa avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salsa tries for a takedown but LaFleche circles away easily and LaFleche counters with a takedown into side control. Martin LaFleche has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chips Salsa. LaFleche lands a decent elbow from side control. LaFleche tries to score with some ground and pound. Salsa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. LaFleche in side control, throwing shots but Salsa defends. Salsa tries to improve position but can't. LaFleche misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. LaFleche is breathing heavily. LaFleche misses with the ground and pound. LaFleche working away.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice defenses there by Salsa. Salsa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and LaFleche decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salsa's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salsa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Salsa tries to land a sweep but no joy. LaFleche throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. LaFleche throwing strikes from guard but Salsa blocks nicely. LaFleche has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LaFleche accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. LaFleche stops Salsa from standing up. Salsa is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. LaFleche shoots in and bounces Salsa off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. LaFleche is in close to Salsa's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Salsa wants to clinch and Salsa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Salsa misses with a body kick. Salsa throws out a loose jab but LaFleche uses good head movement to avoid it. Salsa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaFleche throws out the jab. LaFleche missing with a left hand there. Salsa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Salsa won't be happy with that. Salsa tries to buck LaFleche off but LaFleche is having none of it. Salsa parries the strikes from LaFleche easily there. LaFleche is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Salsa to escape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Excellent takedown into side control there by Salsa. Salsa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. LaFleche misses with a telegraphed body shot

Martin LaFleche overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. LaFleche missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. That could mean trouble for Salsa! Salsa in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Salsa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. LaFleche prevents Salsa from getting the reversal. LaFleche looking to finish Salsa with some ground and pound. This is bad for Salsa! LaFleche scoring with strikes but Salsa is staying in there. LaFleche breaks from Salsa's wrist control and lands an elbow. LaFleche looking to control but Salsa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Salsa sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaFleche lands strikes from half guard. Salsa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from LaFleche. LaFleche sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Salsa defending well though. Salsa is pressing down on LaFleche's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Salsa is on top in guard.

Butcher tries to bum rush Kasumia with a series of wild strikes but Kasumia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Butcher stalks Kasumia and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kasumia's face. Kasumia staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Osuka Kasumia has been cut. Butcher lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Butcher connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Kasumia to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Butcher!

Dvargledare rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Endo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dvargledare has eaten all the pies! Dvargledare Rushes Endo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Endo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Dvargledare Piles on the pressure and Endo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Houzo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Varsi finds it's way round the side to connect with Houzo's head. Harjan Varsi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Varsi rushes Houzo with punches - Houzo moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Houzo goes down! Varsi follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
