And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

the Ripper takes the fight into the clinch.
Olbo is trying to break the clinch but the Ripper has him pressed against the cage.
the Ripper gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Olbo.
Olbo tries for a takedown. No joy.

the Ripper successfully pulls guard.
the Ripper wants to stand and escape but Olbo is having none of it.

Olbo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and the Ripper dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Olbo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
the Ripper tries to free his leg and advance position but Olbo is retaining full guard.

Palmer fails to land with a series of punches.
Palmer lands a nice shot to the body.
Benn defending well as Palmer loads up on a big left hand.

Palmer misses with a head kick.
Palmer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like DJ Benn has been cut.

Benn looks for a takedown but Palmer sprawls well.
Good leg kick by Palmer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Benn is pressing down on Palmer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Palmer is holding on for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitlar shoots in looking for a takedown. Varlam tries to sprawl out of it but Hitlar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Varlam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Varlam feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hitlar's calf.
Hitlar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Varlam gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Varlam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hitlar is one step ahead there.
Hitlar trying to control but Varlam is working from the bottom.
Hitlar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Varlam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
