Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Gammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chino Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreno has chosen Xerces as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chino Moreno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chino Moreno! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreno tries to clinch up but Gammer circles away and keeps his distance. Moreno clinches with his opponent.
Moreno goes for a takedown attempt but Gammer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gammer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gammer wants to free his trapped foot but Moreno is holding on for dear life with his legs. Moreno wants to get back to full guard. Gammer lands strikes from half guard. Moreno blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gammer. Moreno tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Moreno is staying active underneath Gammer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gammer not doing much here.
Gammer is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Moreno has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gammer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moreno's head. Gammer wants to pass to mount but Moreno is defending the position. Moreno is pressing down on Gammer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gammer thows a big elbow that misses. Moreno is trying to keep Gammer in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Moreno with a poor takedown and Gammer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gammer. Gammer trying to control the position from guard on top but Moreno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gammer landing with the ground and pound. Gammer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Moreno dives on top into guard. Gammer controls Moreno momentarily but Moreno frees himself. Gammer is breathing heavily. Moreno stopping the sweep attempt from Gammer. Moreno looking to pass the guard.

Gammer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moreno doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moreno manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Moreno passes into half guard. Moreno is trying to work for a kimura. Moreno is thwarting Gammer's attempts to control the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Gammer manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Moreno looking to pass the guard. Gammer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gammer has a closed guard, preventing Moreno from standing up. Moreno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moreno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gammer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gammer is trying to get back to half guard. Gammer is trying to control Moreno's posture but Moreno avoids it. Moreno tries for a kimura but Gammer is defending well. Gammer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moreno stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gammer to get to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreno shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moreno showed some decent athleticism there. Moreno passes to side control. Moreno trying to control the position but Gammer is working away. Moreno tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gammer's legs. Gammer is trying to control Moreno's posture but Moreno avoids it. Gammer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gammer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Moreno uses his free foot to push down on Gammer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gammer. Moreno scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Moreno lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Moreno tries to control but Gammer wriggling away. Moreno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Moreno trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gammer wants to control but Moreno is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Moreno tries to control but Gammer wriggling away. Gammer is working to get back to half guard.

Moreno stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Moreno scores with a takedown into Gammer's guard. Moreno is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Moreno throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moreno forces his way into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are battling for position here. Gammer manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moreno! Gammer is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A lull in the action here. Moreno working away. Gammer tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Moreno stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Moreno shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Moreno content just to control the position here. Gammer is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno controlling from the full mount. Moreno tries to control but Gammer wriggling away. Moreno postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gammer looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gammer is looking to get to half guard. Moreno pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Moreno punishing his opponent with strikes. Moreno controlling the position easily from mount. Moreno gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Gammer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Moreno counters with a nice body shot. A punch combination from Moreno misses. Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gammer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gammer stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Chino Moreno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Moreno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck for Wade with that takedown attempt. Westaway shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wade counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wade lands a couple of digs. Wade works over Westaway with some ground and pound from guard. Wade is breathing heavily.
