Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mohammad El Sayed! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Black stops El Sayed from standing up. Black has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Black scoring with some ground and pound. El Sayed looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. El Sayed is trying to control the position but Black postures up. Black prevents El Sayed from getting back to his feet. Black wants to control from the top but El Sayed keeps moving.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice body kick from El Sayed. El Sayed digs a good body shot into Black's ribs. Black is breathing heavily. Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. El Sayed lands a nice shot that snaps Black's head back.
El Sayed lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
El Sayed drops Black with a right and a left! El Sayed comes rushing in but Black regains his composure and manages to keep El Sayed in guard.
 Black is rocked!
 It looks like Jack Black has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! El Sayed sitting in guard, not really doing much. Oh Black is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! El Sayed pushes down on Black's leg and manages to get into half guard. Black seems to have got his legs back now. El Sayed controlling the action here. El Sayed tries to stand and escape but Black is controlling the position. El Sayed is taking a breather. Black says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. El Sayed wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
El Sayed escapes and gets back to his feet. Black fails to land the takedown. El Sayed lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Black takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

El Sayed scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. El Sayed drops Black with a right and a left! El Sayed comes rushing in but Black regains his composure and manages to keep El Sayed in guard.
El Sayed works a leg free and moves into half guard. Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position. El Sayed looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Black won't allow El Sayed to pass to mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. El Sayed performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Black is trying to control but can't.
El Sayed wants to stand up but Black has a hold of him and won't allow it. Black trying to hold on to El Sayed's head to control him but El Sayed postures up.
El Sayed with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. El Sayed wants to stand but Black has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. El Sayed passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Black! El Sayed prevents Black from getting the reversal. El Sayed controlling from mount. El Sayed looking to control but Black is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Mohammad El Sayed dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack Black's cut. That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
El Sayed lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Black drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. El Sayed goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Black sitting in guard here, content to control. Black trying to control but El Sayed is working from the bottom. El Sayed wants to stand and escape but Black is having none of it. El Sayed is pulling down on Black's head. It's preventing any offense from Black, at least for the moment. El Sayed working a defensive guard here.
Black throwing strikes from guard but El Sayed blocks nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. El Sayed is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Black trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Black closes the distance and clinches up with El Sayed, looking for a takedown. Black pushes El Sayed against the cage but El Sayed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A nice combination there by El Sayed.
A big head kick from El Sayed and Black is sent sprawling to the canvas! El Sayed sitting in guard, not really doing much. El Sayed has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Black is proving hard to escape from.
El Sayed stands and steps away. Black gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. El Sayed uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Black has time to react. Black has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Black there as he acknowledges the shot. El Sayed connects with a good right hand that stumbles Black. Black circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Black fails to land the takedown. El Sayed lands a head kick. Black smiles back at him and beckons him forward. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Black shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says El Sayed as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Black. That's going to take a lot out of him. El Sayed lands a jab-cross combination. Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. El Sayed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. El Sayed lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Black backs up against the cage.
Mohammad El Sayed seems to be getting the better of the standup. El Sayed chopping away at his opponent's legs.
El Sayed cracks the inside of Black's front leg. Black takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd cheers as El Sayed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Black doesn't seem phased though. El Sayed lands a jab. El Sayed scores with a punch to the head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. El Sayed throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. El Sayed lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Black tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but El Sayed swivels and escapes. El Sayed throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Black's head. El Sayed's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and El Sayed duly obliges. Black looks for a takedown but El Sayed sprawls well. Mohammad El Sayed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Black takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Black scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Black connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused El Sayed some visible discomfort.
El Sayed throws Black to one side and escapes! El Sayed throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it. El Sayed scores with a nice body kick.
Black scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Black is looking to take a break and control but El Sayed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Black is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. El Sayed wants to stand up but Black is controlling him. El Sayed keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully. El Sayed has been the more effective fighter overall so far. El Sayed looking for a sweep. Not yet El Sayed, not yet. Black trying to control the position from guard on top but El Sayed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. El Sayed is pulling down on Black's head to control his posture. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. El Sayed is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. An inside leg kick lands from El Sayed. Black throws a wild combination but nothing lands. El Sayed connects with a solid leg kick. Black walks into a stiff left hand from El Sayed. El Sayed lands with a kick to the temple. Black shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" El Sayed scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. El Sayed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. El Sayed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! El Sayed connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice shot by El Sayed. El Sayed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Black misses with a two punch combination.
El Sayed connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Black takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Black looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Nice takedown defense from El Sayed. No joy for Black on that attempt. Black steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from El Sayed. That one must have hurt. Black takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. No joy there for El Sayed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Black or perhaps it was just good defense by El Sayed which made him look bad. A right-left combo lands from El Sayed. El Sayed throws a nice head kick!

That's going to take a lot out of him. El Sayed cracks Black with an open hand slap. El Sayed falls off balance throwing a combination
and Black counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Black. El Sayed not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jack Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. El Sayed wants to sweep but no luck. El Sayed wants to stand up but Black is controlling him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Black postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. El Sayed wants to get back to his feet but Black is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Black trying to control but El Sayed is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now El Sayed is on top in guard.
El Sayed stopping the sweep attempt from Black. El Sayed is pushing down on Black's leg trying to pass to half guard. Black is fighting to maintain full guard but El Sayed has managed to sneak the leg through. Black throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Black is trying to maintain the position but El Sayed is very close to passing his half guard. El Sayed seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. El Sayed lands a head kick. Black smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Black closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming El Sayed to the mat! El Sayed manages to get full guard. Black trying to move into half guard but instead El Sayed has managed to sweep! El Sayed stopping the sweep attempt from Black. Jack Black has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mohammad El Sayed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. El Sayed wanted to stand there but Black had control of the position. Black trying to strike off his back.
Black wants to sweep but no luck.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. El Sayed stuffs the takedown. El Sayed throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Black takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
El Sayed lands with a straight right. Black didn't see that one coming. Mohammad El Sayed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. El Sayed connects with the punch. El Sayed digs a good body shot into Black's ribs. A nice combination there by El Sayed.
And that's the end of the fight! Mohammad El Sayed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got El Sayed winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyler connects with a high kick. Brandon Sinistra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyler moves into the clinch. Boyler lands a nice uppercut. Sinistra can't get the takedown.
Boyler blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sinistra gets underhooks to prevent Boyler's takedown attempt.
A head punch on the inside from Sinistra fails to land.
Boyler manages to break the clinch.
Boyler throws a nice outside leg kick.

Boyler pushes Sinistra away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sinistra gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sinistra wants to control but Boyler is keeping him busy. Sloppy strikes there by Sinistra. Boyler tries to get back to half guard but can't.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sinistra clinches but Boyler breaks the clinch and Boyler counters with a series of strikes. Sinistra will be more careful next time no doubt. Boyler connects with a solid leg kick. Sinistra is breathing heavily. Boyler throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sinistra's head. Boyler throws a right and a left that both miss. Sinistra tries to clinch but fails miserably and Boyler counters with a big head kick but Sinistra shrugs it off. Sinistra has his takedown stuffed and Boyler counters with a low kick, right behind Sinistra 's knee. Boyler throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sinistra's head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boyler gets a clinch. Boyler unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sinistra lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Boyler leaning his opponent against the cage. Sinistra fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Boyler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick from Boyler lands but Sinistra takes it in his stride. Boyler lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boyler lands with a right hand. Boyler scoring well with a low kick there.
Boyler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boyler lands in his opponent's guard. Boyler would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sinistra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boyler looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyler tries to stand but Sinistra is controlling from the bottom. Sinistra wants to sweep but no luck.
Sinistra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sinistra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sinistra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boyler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boyler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boyler throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sinistra. A nice inside leg kick there by Boyler. That's going to slow Sinistra down. Good leg kick by Boyler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick from Boyler lands but Sinistra takes it in his stride. Boyler moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Boyler lands with a slapping head kick. Boyler looks for a takedown but Sinistra sprawls well. Boyler lands a head kick!
Sinistra shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boyler as he avoids it easily.
Boyler rushes Sinistra and presses him up against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boyler connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sinistra's face.
Boyler lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Boyler drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sinistra pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sinistra with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Boyler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sinistra holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Boyler dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Boyler throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Boyler pushes Sinistra up against the cage in a clinch.
Sinistra turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sinistra manages to end up in side control. Boyler is trying to improve his position. Sinistra trying to control the position but Boyler is working away.
Sinistra is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Boyler looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sinistra gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Boyler is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sinistra lets go of the hold and Boyler can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Thatcher kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Seven Nation Army- The White Stripes. Markus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Faith No More - Be Aggressive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Thatcher throws a hook but Markus avoids it easily. Thatcher waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Markus. Thatcher scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Markus doesn't seem bothered though. Markus takes a shot right to the bread basket. Markus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Thatcher tests Markus's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Thatcher darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Markus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thatcher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Markus sees it coming and avoids it easily. Thatcher scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Thatcher misses the body punch and Markus counters with a nice uppercut.
Markus pushes Thatcher up against the cage in a clinch. Markus lands an elbow inside that Thatcher shrugs off.
Markus manages to break the clinch.
Markus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thatcher. Thatcher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Markus counters with a good, hard body kick but Thatcher shrugs it off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Markus has managed to clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Markus lands a nice knee to the body.
Markus breaks the clinch.
Thatcher looks to land a left hand but Markus moved out of range nicely. Markus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thatcher stalks Markus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Markus's face. Markus staggers backwards, shaken. Thatcher lands a head shot. Thatcher has his takedown stuffed
and Markus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Come on Markus - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Markus receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Markus manages to break the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Markus is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Thatcher scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Markus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thatcher's guard.
Thatcher throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Markus escapes and throws Thatcher's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Markus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Thatcher has escaped the position, nice work there.
Markus is trying to get an arm triangle but Thatcher is defending well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Thatcher is looking for a sweep.
Markus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thatcher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Thatcher tries to improve position but can't.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mark Markus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Thatcher throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thatcher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Thatcher lands a glancing blow to the side of Markus's head. Thatcher throws a shot from downtown. Markus moves away and avoids it. Thatcher misses with a hook. Markus ducked under it nicely.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kim pushes Jones away with a front kick. Jones looks gassed! Kim lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kim connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jones tumbling to the canvas! Kim pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jones was done - good stoppage!
