Kang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blankenship throws a looping overhand right but Kang ducks down to avoid it.
Blankenship throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Blankenship throws an overhand right that lands on Kang's shoulder, as Kang tries to avoid the shot.
Kang ducks under a wild hook from Blankenship.
Blankenship misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blankenship throws a series of punches but Kang avoids them all with ease.
Blankenship jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Blankenship steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Kang is out on his feet! Blankenship sets himself and nearly takes Kang's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

A clash of legs there as Dee blocks the low kick.
Dee dodges the punch combination from Holt.
Holt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dee tries to avoid it but Holt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dee to the ground. Dee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Steve Holt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dee feints and as Holt raises his hands in defense, Dee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
