Braithweight drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Simeone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Braithweight has Simeone in his guard.

Braithweight swings around for an armbar but Simeone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Braithweight's guard.
Simeone wants to get up but he can't break Braithweight's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Simeone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Braithweight, up you get!
Simeone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Braithweight fails to land the takedown.
Simeone lands a nice shot to the body.

and Braithweight counters with a single leg into guard. Simeone didn't expect that.

McGillicutty tries to close the distance and clinch but Tonbridge swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tonbridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGillicutty as he jumps to the side.
McGillicutty tries to bum rush Tonbridge with a series of wild strikes but Tonbridge uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tonbridge throws a big shot that misses.
Tonbridge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGillicutty's waist but McGillicutty gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tonbridge off to one side.

McGillicutty fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tonbridge, pushing him back against the cage.
Tonbridge has a couple of punches blocked by McGillicutty.

McGillicutty gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tonbridge regains guard.

Tonbridge looking for a guillotine here but McGillicutty defends easily.
McGillicutty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tonbridge swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tonbridge tries to land a sweep but no joy.

McGillicutty is sitting in close to Tonbridge's body. Tonbridge has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McGillicutty is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McGillicutty is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tonbridge.
