0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Hardey! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardey works the jab nicely. Garcia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hardey is looking to clinch. Garcia gets the takedown into side control. Hardey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garcia wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hardey holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Garcia has control of an arm but Hardey manages to advance to Garcia's back! Hardey wants to get back to his feet. Hardey trying to control the hands but Garcia won't let him. Hardey tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Salek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Purcell! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salek pushes Purcell up against the cage in a clinch. Salek is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Purcell is keeping busy. Salek unloads a knee to the mid-section. Purcell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Salek is pressed up against the cage. Purcell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Salek down to the mat. Salek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Purcell scores with a jab to the jaw. Salek tries to clinch there but Purcell circles away.
Salek moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Salek looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Purcell tests Salek's chin there with a solid looking shot. Salek takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Purcell thuds his right hand into Salek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Purcell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Salek. Rick Purcell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Purcell lands a nice looking body shot.
Salek connects with a solid leg kick. Purcell drops Salek with a left right combo! Purcell follows him down to the ground into side control.
Salek is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big shot lands for Purcell! That's hurt Salek! Will he recover? Purcell fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
