The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bam moves into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dente as he avoids it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alec Jones will probably get the nod.

Vatali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vatali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vatali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calhoun swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Calhoun is pressed up against the cage. Vatali has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Calhoun down to the mat. Calhoun avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bearden closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on West's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
West is looking for a sweep.
West wants to control but Bearden postures up.

Bearden is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! West has his hands clasped together but Bearden extends an breaks West's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bearden.
