The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vitor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cracchiolo as he jumps to the side. Cracchiolo throws a series of punches but Vitor moves out of range. Joao Vitor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cracchiolo lands with a right and another and another! Vitor is in big trouble! Cracchiolo lands again and this time it's lights out for Vitor! A quality knockout there for Cracchiolo.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baltar feints and as Paul raises his hands in defense, Baltar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Baltar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Paul is keeping the position for now. Baltar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Paul works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Baltar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Paul swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baltar drops back looking for a leg! Paul is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Paul manages to kick Baltar off! Baltar jumps back into Paul's guard. Baltar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Paul is keeping the position for now. Baltar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baltar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Baltar trying to control but Paul is working from the bottom. Paul looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Paul is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Baltar scores with a couple of nice shots. Baltar tries to pass to full mount but Paul defends it. Baltar escapes and gets back to his feet. Baltar is breathing heavily. Paul looks to clinch and Baltar counters by moving into the clinch. Baltar throws a knee to the head but misses.
Baltar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Baltar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Paul.

That's one minute gone in the round. Paul is working an open guard so Baltar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Paul is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gaius Baltar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Baltar forces Paul back against the cage and clinches. Paul drops down looking for an ankle pick but Baltar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Baltar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Paul! Baltar trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Baltar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Paul tries to lock up and control but Baltar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Baltar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Paul manages to avoid the submission attempt. Gaius Baltar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baltar decides to stand back up. Baltar tries to clinch but Paul moves out of range. Paul takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Baltar rushes Paul and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Paul prevents a takedown attempt there.
Baltar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Paul clinches but Baltar breaks the clinch and Baltar moves into the clinch. Paul tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Baltar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Baltar prevents Paul from improving his position. Baltar is looking for a kimura but Paul is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baltar to get the leverage. Baltar seems to be looking for submissions.
Baltar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Paul is looking to clinch. Baltar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Baltar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Paul keeps working. Paul is looking to regain half guard here but Baltar keeps moving and retains side control. Baltar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baltar decides to stand back up. Baltar shoots in and drives through. Paul sprawls well. Baltar shoots in but Paul avoids the takedown attempt easily. Paul clinches but Baltar breaks the clinch and Baltar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baltar. Baltar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Paul can do to turn this around? Paul keeps control of Baltar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A knee to the head by Baltar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Baltar with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Paul is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Baltar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Baltar landing knees to the head.
Baltar pulls guard. Baltar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Paul stacks Baltar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Paul! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gaius Baltar dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Paul gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Baltar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This has been an exciting period of action! Baltar tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Baltar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Paul is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Baltar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Paul's back instead. Baltar is cranking Paul's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Paul! He's tightened the choke and Paul is tapping out!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Marx raining down shots from the mount! Time is bucking up trying to escape but Marx cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Marx landing strikes, looking to finish! Marx dominating with strikes here.
