1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Saw! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Saw. No joy for Amil on that attempt. Saw looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Amil closes the distance and pushes Saw back into the cage. Amil has Saw pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Saw manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Saw has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Amil uses from the top position. Amil missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Saw has a closed guard, preventing Amil from standing up. Amil looking to sit in guard and control but Saw gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Amil is trying to control the position but Saw postures up.

and Amil counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Saw's guard now. Amil won't allow Saw to sweep him here. Saw bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Amil's guard. Saw content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Amil is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Saw is controlling him. Saw slips nicely into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saw perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saw prevents Amil from getting back to his feet. Saw slips nicely into half guard. Saw with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Saw postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Amil to stand up. Saw throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Saw is trying to maintain a safe position but Amil gets an underhook and turns Saw into the cage. Saw takes an elbow to the forehead. Amil changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Saw fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Amil lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Amil pulls Saw into guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simon Amil. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Amil, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bravo. Bravo is looking to clinch but Douglas is avoiding it.

and Bravo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Douglas wants to get back to full guard. Bravo thows a huge punch but Douglas dodges it nicely.

Not this time though. Bravo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bravo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bravo is stalling here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Contadino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kim as he jumps to the side. Kim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kim throws a nice looking combination but Contadino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Contadino tries to clinch there but Kim circles away.
Kim tries to bum rush Contadino with a series of wild strikes but Contadino uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Contadino tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Cadman feints and as Stevens raises his hands in defense, Cadman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cadman wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. Stevens looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevens, not yet. Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stevens throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Stevens keeping moving, preventing Cadman from controlling successfully.
