1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Monty Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, a tope! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Burns. No joy for tope on that attempt. tope swats away the attempt to clinch by Burns. A swing and a miss from Burns. Burns throws an uppercut from half a mile away. tope sees it coming and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by tope or perhaps it was just good defense by Burns which made him look bad. Burns keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Burns wants to clinch up but tope keeps it at a distance. Burns fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Burns lands a high kick to the side of tope's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Burns dives into guard, looking to finish.
tope is rocked!
It looks like a tope has been cut. tope working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Burns has passed into half guard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. tope looks gassed! Burns tries to stand but his hand is stuck under tope.
That's one minute gone in the round. tope is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. tope looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Burns stands up from half guard. tope ducks under a wild hook from Burns. Burns is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Burns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Burns clinches up with tope and pushes him back against the cage. Burns lands an elbow just above tope 's eye. tope fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Monty Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of a tope. tope looking for a takedown. tope is trying to drag Burns to the mat but Burns just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Burns lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Burns holding his opponent close, against the cage.
tope tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burns just stands there and leans against the cage. tope jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Burns walks away with a smile on his face. tope gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Burns closes the distance and clinches. tope is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Burns pulls him back up using the underhooks. Burns escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns throws a shot from downtown. tope moves away and avoids it. Burns listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Burns paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Burns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
tope keeps the fight on the outside. Burns avoids the body shot from tope.
Burns has closed the distance and engaged tope in a clinch.
Burns lands an elbow just above tope 's eye. tope drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Burns has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed tope clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! tope manages to reverse the position and now he's in Burns's guard. Nice work there by tope.
That's four minutes gone in the round. tope is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burns is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burns has escaped and now he's on top! tope bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burns's guard. tope pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burns is keeping the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. tope stops Burns from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Burns dominated that round. The cut man is working on a tope's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Burns misses with a body punch
and tope connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. tope shoots in for a takedown but Burns shows good takedown defense. Burns lets loose with a powerful body kick. tope will feel that in the morning. Burns lands with a kick to the ribs.
Burns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. tope looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Burns thows a body shot but no joy. Burns stuffs the takedown. Burns bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps tope's head backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. tope slips a jab and a cross from Burns.
tope avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. tope scores a takedown into full mount! tope is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Burns is surviving well by controlling tope's body position as best he can. tope working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Burns turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips tope off and cradles Burns's limp body as tope celebrates with his corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David McCredie! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. McCredie connects with a high kick. Gracie forces McCredie back against the cage and clinches. Gracie prevents the takedown attempt.
Gracie is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McCredie can't fight it off and eventually Gracie manages to take the fight to the floor. McCredie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCredie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work. McCredie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Gracie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McCredie looks a forlorn figure.
Gracie is looking to work his way around to McCredie's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCredie takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. McCredie is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Gracie has taken his back.

Gracie working for a choke but McCredie reverses nicely into Gracie 's guard. McCredie trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCredie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McCredie has Gracie in his guard. McCredie looks gassed! McCredie trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie advances position into side control! Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCredie, who protects the arm well. Gracie tries to advance to mount but McCredie denies him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McCredie takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gracie works to advance to full mount. McCredie defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. McCredie wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie goes for an armbar but McCredie turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from McCredie. McCredie trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cristian Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McCredie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. McCredie shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McCredie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gracie gets full guard. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McCredie manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie passes McCredie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gracie is just content to waste time from the top position. McCredie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Gracie shoots and misses and McCredie counters with a takedown into side control. Gracie tries to buck McCredie off but McCredie is having none of it. McCredie misses with the ground and pound. McCredie in side control, throwing shots but Gracie defends. Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McCredie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCredie cracks Gracie with a big elbow. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCredie controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCredie trying to control but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
McCredie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McCredie misses with a head shot. Gracie is working to get back to half guard.
McCredie pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Poor strikes thrown by McCredie there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Cristian Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. McCredie throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McCredie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape. Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but McCredie has a good base and remains in mount. Gracie is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Gracie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gracie keeping hold of McCredie's head, controlling as best he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute McCredie jumps into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! David McCredie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Gracie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! william will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alves misses with a hook. william throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range. Alves misses with a straight left. william tries to bum rush Alves with a series of wild strikes but Alves uses good footwork to avoid the assault. william slips under a jab from Alves. william takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. william looks gassed! A slow jab from Alves misses its intended target. william avoids the body shot from Alves.
Alves throws a jab when william was well out of range. william ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Alves throws a shot from downtown. william moves away and avoids it. Nice defenses there by william. william displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. A telegraphed right hand from Alves misses the target. william scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fighters circling - Alves throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Alves is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Alves's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. william moves away from the strike by Alves. Alves misses with a looping left. william throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alves. Alves misses with a hook. A combination from william does no damage. A nice combination there by william.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Watson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Moore to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Moore looks to clinch but Watson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Moore taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can hardy defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - hardy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMally shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carpenter as he avoids it easily. McMally checks a leg kick. McMally fails to land the takedown. Carpenter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McMally shoots for a takedown but Carpenter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Elliot Carpenter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank McMally. Carpenter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carpenter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McMally gets caught flat footed, as Carpenter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Carpenter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carpenter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carpenter throws a big right hand that misses. McMally avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carpenter lands a couple of decent looking shots. McMally looks gassed! Carpenter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. McMally manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Carpenter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. McMally tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McMally with a poor takedown and Carpenter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carpenter fails to land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McMally misses with a takedown attempt and Carpenter counters with a left and a right that stings McMally. Carpenter tries to close the distance and clinch but McMally swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McMally has his takedown stuffed and Carpenter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. McMally looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carpenter keeping moving, preventing McMally from controlling successfully. Carpenter trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Carpenter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McMally trying to control the position from guard on top but Carpenter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carpenter is controlling McMally's posture.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carpenter tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. McMally is landing with some decent strikes but Carpenter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank McMally comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Carpenter has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hastings fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sullivan, pushing him back against the cage. Hastings tries for a takedown but Sullivan manages to get underhooks.
Sullivan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hastings clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hastings fending off the submission attempt from Sullivan. Hastings tries to escape the position.
Hastings turns into Sullivan and is now in his guard.
Sullivan looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hastings is defending well. Sullivan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hastings has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
