The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Troyer shoots in for a takedown but Powers shows good takedown defense.
Powers misses with a straight right.
Powers cracks De Troyer with an open hand slap.

It looks like Olivier De Troyer has been cut.

De Troyer throws a nice looking combination but Powers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Powers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nice defenses there by Powers.
De Troyer lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Powers can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from De Troyer and Powers drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by De Troyer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fernandez was well out of range. Poor timing from Azevedo.

Fernandez unloads a knee to the mid-section. Azevedo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Fernandez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Azevedo up against the cage.
