The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Shane Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A head kick misses from Jackson. Arson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Arson trying to control the position but Jackson is working away. Arson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jackson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Arson yanks on the arm and Jackson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Arson.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamal Anderson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Anderson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Evans is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Evans is working hard here to advance position. Anderson prevents Evans from standing back up.
Evans wants to get back to full guard. Anderson wants to work for an arm triangle but Evans is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Anderson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Evans has managed to free his arm - good work. Evans is looking for a sweep. Anderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Evans blocks a head kick by Anderson.
Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Evans shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Evans counters with a single leg into guard. Anderson didn't expect that. Evans throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Anderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evans gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Anderson looks gassed! Anderson working for a triangle but Evans defends it easily.
Evans tries to stand but Anderson is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Evans has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Evans landing some decent shots from guard. Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Evans is controlling him. Evans wants to stand but Anderson is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Evans misses with a takedown attempt and Anderson counters with a shoot takedown. Evans fights it but they end up in guard. Evans looking for a sweep. Not yet Evans, not yet. Evans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard. Evans postures up.

Anderson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Evans passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Anderson! Evans looking to control but Anderson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson regains half guard. Evans lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Anderson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Anderson actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jamal Anderson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Evans closes the distance and clinches. Anderson is trying to break free. Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Evans has him pressed against the cage. Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Anderson throws an overhand right that lands on Evans's shoulder, as Evans tries to avoid the shot. Evans tries to clinch but fails miserably and Anderson moves into the clinch. Anderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big right from Anderson misses. Evans looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Evans persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing. Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.
Evans thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Anderson if he has to take too many more of those.
Anderson is breathing heavily. No luck for Evans with that takedown attempt. Evans lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Evans scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Anderson tries to improve position but can't. Anderson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Evans lands a few punches from side control. Evans in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Anderson wants to control but Evans postures up. Evans lands a nice forearm strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans just content to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans lands a nice forearm strike. Evans in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Anderson tries to improve position but can't. Evans scores with a couple of short elbows. Evans scoring with punches and elbows. Evans works to advance to full mount. Anderson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Evans pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Anderson is squirming around, avoiding Evans's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson tries to hold on but Evans postures up. Anderson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Anderson is rocked! Evans looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans lands a big elbow. Anderson is still in real trouble! Can Evans finish him? A big strike lands for Evans! That's really hurt Anderson and he's turned his back - Evans keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Evans Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Hermiston.
Hermiston is looking to clinch. Whinchester lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hermiston's sensitive parts. Hermiston swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hermiston tries to clinch up but Whinchester circles away and keeps his distance. Hermiston scores with a takedown into Whinchester's guard. Hermiston must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Whinchester looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Whinchester has a closed guard, preventing Hermiston from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Whinchester is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hermiston's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hermiston's back! Hermiston is trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hermiston tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Whinchester swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hermiston is now in Whinchester's guard. A big mistake from Whinchester there, giving up the dominant position! Whinchester is breathing heavily. Whinchester working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hermiston has passed into half guard!

Hermiston tries to close the distance and clinch but Whinchester swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hermiston lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hermiston gets in close and instigates a clinch. Whinchester takes a shot to the head. Hermiston lands a nice shot to the body. Whinchester has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hermiston is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hermiston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hermiston shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hermiston was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hermiston looking to control and managing it successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hermiston is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Despite being in the dominant position, Andrew Hermiston just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Whinchester fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Whinchester circles away from the clinch attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hermiston. That's going to slow Whinchester down. Nice takedown defense from Whinchester. No joy for Hermiston on that attempt. Hermiston lands with a kick to the temple. Whinchester shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Dean Whinchester has been cut. Hermiston wants to clinch. Whinchester avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Andrew Hermiston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dean Whinchester's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hermiston doesn't manage to clinch there - Whinchester circles away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Whinchester tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hermiston smiles and moves away.

Hermiston fails with the takedown. Dean Whinchester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Hermiston. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hermiston drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Whinchester's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A bit of stalling here from Hermiston.
Hermiston gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whinchester throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Whinchester isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hermiston stacks Whinchester on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hermiston! Hermiston in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hermiston tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Andrew Hermiston is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hermiston slows the pace down. Hermiston has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hermiston is looking to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Hermiston comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hermiston has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Harris lunges at Jackson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jackson's hand. A jab from Harris finds it's way through Jackson's defenses. Harris blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Harris pushes Jackson up against the cage in a clinch. Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Harris pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Harris tests Jackson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Connor Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Harris tries to clinch up. Jackson looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well. Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jackson tries to clinch but Harris moves out of range. Jackson moves into the clinch. Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harris cracks Jackson with a good jab. Harris has Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.
Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard. Jackson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Harris scores with a punch to the head. Good shot there by Harris. Jackson clinches up against the cage. Harris gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jackson regains guard.

Jackson is trying to control the position but Harris postures up. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jackson pulls Harris in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris passes Jackson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jackson looks gassed! Jackson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Harris in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jackson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Harris!

Stalberg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stalberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively. No joy there for Stalberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stalberg dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Stalberg misses. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Stalberg!
It looks like Urijah Brown has been cut. Stalberg misses with a two punch combination.

Brown takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Good shot there by Stalberg. This has been an exciting period of action! Stalberg misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely. Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stalberg changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stalberg throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease. Stalberg looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well. Stalberg lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Stalberg throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stalberg ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. No joy there for Stalberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stalberg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stalberg is breathing heavily. A jab lands there for Stalberg. A nice combination there by Stalberg.
Brown is rocked! Stalberg walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Brown drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Stalberg swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Brown's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells shoots in looking for a takedown. Weiss tries to sprawl out of it but Wells keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weiss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wells shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Weiss as he jumps to the side. Wells fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Wells. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good work there from Canadian Kid! Misawa manages to get back to half guard. Canadian Kid frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Canadian Kid prevents Misawa from getting the reversal.
