A fine choice. Robbie Ventura struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Palacios keeps the fight on the outside. Palacios looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Moss pushes Palacios up against the cage in a clinch. Moss misses with a knee to the head. Moss gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Palacios.

That had to hurt Palacios. Palacios closes the distance but Moss moves to the side enabling Moss to counter with a crisp jab. Palacios avoids the head kick by Moss.
Palacios tries for a takedown but Moss circles away easily and Moss moves into the clinch. Palacios tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moss smiles and moves away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Moss will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Fortune blocks the leg kick.
Osilla throws a leg kick that misses. Osilla misses with a wild combination.
Osilla scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Osilla throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Osilla Rushes Fortune and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Fortune is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Osilla Piles on the pressure and Fortune crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCrunky moves forwards but Jackson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jackson rushes McCrunky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McCrunky stalling in the clinch but Jackson improves position. Jackson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
McCrunky is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jackson is keeping busy. Jackson pushes McCrunky back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jackson tries to break the clinch but McCrunky is controlling the position. Jackson lands with a right to the head. McCrunky lands a nice shot to the body. McCrunky trying to land knees to the body.
McCrunky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McCrunky slips a jab from Jackson. Good leg kick by McCrunky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A big left from Jackson misses. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jackson connects with a single shot there.
McCrunky is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCrunky throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
McCrunky is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him? Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson throws a hook but McCrunky blocks it. Jackson steps into range and cracks McCrunky with a monster punch that buckles his knees! McCrunky flops backwards and Jackson dives into his guard looking to finish!
McCrunky trying to keep a closed guard but Jackson is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCrunky throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
McCrunky seems to have recovered his senses. McCrunky looks gassed! McCrunky pushes Jackson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Some wild striking there from McCrunky.
Xavier Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson tries to clinch but McCrunky is having none of it. Jackson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCrunky. Jackson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McCrunky on the side of the head. McCrunky moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. McCrunky dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
McCrunky drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McCrunky off and has taken his back! McCrunky rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

McCrunky is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well. Jackson is thwarting McCrunky's attempts to control the position. Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jackson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. McCrunky clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson misses with a knee strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McCrunky backwards. Jackson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jackson wants to get back to striking at distance but McCrunky won't allow it.
Jackson breaks the clinch.
Jackson cracks McCrunky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jackson blocks a head kick by McCrunky.
Jackson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. McCrunky is looking to close the distance but Jackson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! McCrunky crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope McCrunky is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
