The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Z with that takedown attempt. Z swats away the attempt to clinch by Camara. Z will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Z on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Camara misses with a takedown and Z counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Camara actively working from the bottom here. Camara is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Z pulls his head out easily. Z is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Camara doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Z. Z is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Z has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Z is looking to work his way around to Camara's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Z goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Camara turns into him and now he's in Z's guard.
Camara won't allow Z to sweep him here. Camara drops back looking for a leg! Z is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Z manages to kick Camara off! Camara jumps back into Z's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Camara wants to stand but Z is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Z is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Z looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Z is breathing heavily. Z throws his legs up looking for a submission but Camara uses it to pass to side control.
Camara decides to stand back up. Camara steps back and let's Z get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Z feints and as Camara raises his hands in defense, Z changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Camara trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Z trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Z passes Camara's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Z tries to pass to full mount but Camara defends it. Camara trying to control from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Z uses his free foot to push down on Camara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Camara. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Z goes for an armbar but Camara turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Camara. Camara drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Camara jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Camara postures up in Z's guard and throws a big left but Z blocks it. Z lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Camara! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Z dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Z with a lazy takedown attempt and Camara counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Z looking for submissions off his back. Z is trying to get back to full guard. Z is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Camara jumps into side control! Camara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Z is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Z is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Camara is tapping! Great win for Z!

Nice takedown defense from pain. No joy for Birchall on that attempt. pain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. pain working Birchall over with strikes. pain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
pain seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. pain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Birchall sees it coming and defends easily. Birchall wants to improve his position but pain is controlling well.
pain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Birchall is just riding it out for now. pain eventually gives up the hold. Birchall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like Royston De Noteboom has been cut. De Noteboom shoots for a double leg takedown but Foreman sprawls well. He's pushed De Noteboom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. De Noteboom tries for a takedown but Foreman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Foreman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Foreman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. De Noteboom throws a big right hand that misses. De Noteboom throws a strike but Foreman rolls with it and manages to sweep. De Noteboom pushes Foreman against the cage but Foreman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Paul Foreman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Foreman wants to stand but De Noteboom has his arm trapped. De Noteboom tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Foreman presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Foreman takes a little breather and maintains the position. Foreman's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. De Noteboom tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. De Noteboom is in the full mount, landing strikes. De Noteboom working the ground and pound effectively.
Royston De Noteboom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! De Noteboom is landing with some decent strikes but Foreman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Paul Foreman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A nice elbow there by De Noteboom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Couvreur is staying active underneath de, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Couvreur defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from de. de throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Couvreur has his hands clasped together but de breaks the hold and Couvreur is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by de!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Law jabs Hussein right on the nose. Hussein blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Rasheed Hussein has been cut. Hussein tries to clinch but Law is having none of it. Hussein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Law on the side of the head.
It looks like Jhonny Law has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hussein misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Law scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Law stuffs the takedown attempt from Hussein. Hussein gets slowly back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Geroldo M gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Geroldo M is looking for a triangle but Ali pushes his legs off easily.

Ali drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Geroldo M Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ali's back instead. Geroldo M doesn't have the hooks in and Ali manages to turn into his guard.
Geroldo M utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ali trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ali is pushing down on Geroldo M's leg trying to pass to half guard. Geroldo M is fighting to maintain full guard but Ali has managed to sneak the leg through. Ali decides to stand up. Ali closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ali lands in his opponent's guard. Ali sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali stopping the sweep attempt from Geroldo M. Ali is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Geroldo M looking for a sweep. Not yet Geroldo M, not yet. Geroldo M is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ali won't allow Geroldo M to sweep him here. Geroldo M controls Ali momentarily but Ali frees himself. Geroldo M is looking to stand back up but Ali counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Geroldo M.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Geroldo M is trying to maintain the position but Ali is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up but Geroldo M swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ali feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ali stays in close to Geroldo M's body and controls the position. Geroldo M controls Ali momentarily but Ali frees himself. Ali is looking to work some ground and pound but Geroldo M has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Geroldo M is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ali is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ali is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ali has gone for a leg lock! Geroldo M slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ali's guard. Ali striking off his back but it's not causing Geroldo M any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ali wants to hold on but Geroldo M pushes him away. Ali slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Geroldo M is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ali sees it coming and defends easily. Geroldo M wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ali keeps working. Ali won't allow Geroldo M to pass to mount. Geroldo M is just content to waste time from the top position. Ali takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ali lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Geroldo M!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali breaks from Geroldo M's wrist control and lands an elbow. Ali controlling the pace for now. Ali trying to control but Geroldo M is having none of it. Ali punching from mount but Geroldo M doing a good job of avoiding damage. Geroldo M avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ali.
Geroldo M really wants to buck Ali off and get back to his feet.

Ali is riding his opponent, not letting Geroldo M buck him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Esmael Ali will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ali is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Geroldo M doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ali. Ali is trying to control. Geroldo M wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali is pressing down on Geroldo M's thigh, looking to free his foot. Geroldo M is holding on for now. Geroldo M looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ali passes to side control. Ali sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Geroldo M is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Geroldo M with a lazy takedown attempt and Ali counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Geroldo M is doing well to control the position and prevent Ali from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Geroldo M is looking for a sweep. Ali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ali looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Geroldo M keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ali is thwarting Geroldo M's attempts to control the position. Ali passes to full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ali throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Geroldo M wants to control but Ali is having none of it. Ali misses with a head shot. Ali lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ali controlling from the full mount. Geroldo M working to try and regain half guard.
Gerold Mousasi Geroldo M has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Poor strikes thrown by Ali there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Esmael Ali is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Geroldo M is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
