Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Soulfly - Brasil. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Drago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juliano Junior! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Junior ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A jab from Drago misses. Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Junior moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Drago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Junior shoots in but Drago avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drago throws a series of punches but Junior avoids them all with ease. Alex Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago gets caught flat footed, as Junior shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Junior looking to pass the guard. Junior is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Junior passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drago wants to stand back up but Junior manages to pass into side control.
Junior working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Junior is trying to get an arm triangle but Drago is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Junior advances to full mount. Junior swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drago is now in Junior's guard. A big mistake from Junior there, giving up the dominant position! Junior looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Drago has picked Junior up and slammed him! Junior can't keep hold of the triangle and Drago manages to pass to side control! Drago decides to stand up, so the ref orders Junior to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago looks to land a left hand but Junior moved out of range nicely. Drago misses with a few strikes there.
Junior closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Junior lands in his opponent's guard. Drago wants to stand but Junior is controlling the position.

Drago gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Drago is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Junior tries for a takedown. No joy.

That made a horrendous noise. Junior keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Drago. Junior shoots in but Drago avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drago lands a jab to the nose. Drago throws a right and a left that Junior avoids nicely. Drago fails to land with a series of punches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drago looks to throw the jab but Junior is out of range. Alex Drago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Juliano Junior is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Drago throws a nice looking combination but Junior bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Po misses with a takedown attempt - Crimson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Crimson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Po misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Crimson doesn't manage to clinch there - Po circles away.
Crimson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Po closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Po has hold of Crimson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Crimson seems comfortable defending it but Po has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Crimson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Crimson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Po couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Pillay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rhodes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pillay. Pillay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rhodes cracks the inside of Pillay's front leg. Pillay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rhodes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rhodes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rhodes dips to his left and cracks Pillay with an uppercut! Pillay misses with a hook. Rhodes ducked under it nicely. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! kurochenko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. kurochenko ducks straight into an uppercut from Yoshida and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - kurochenko maanges to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Vladmir kurochenko has been cut. Yoshida must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. This has been an exciting period of action! Yoshida arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! kurochenko's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson. De Rick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. De Rick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
De Rick scores with a sloppy right hand. Johnson should have avoided that one.
It looks like Todd Johnson has been cut. Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Arne De Rick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Todd Johnson. Johnson tries for a takedown but De Rick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Johnson looks gassed! De Rick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. De Rick is looking to slow Johnson down with leg kicks. De Rick goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De Rick lands a slapping body shot.

De Rick cracks the inside of Johnson's front leg. De Rick scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That has opened up Todd Johnson's cut even more. De Rick looks to land a combination. Johnson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. De Rick dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Johnson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. De Rick closes the distance and clinches. Johnson pulls De Rick into guard.
Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but De Rick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johnson working for a triangle but De Rick defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson working for submissions but it's allowed De Rick to get to half guard.
De Rick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Johnson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Johnson wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson wants to get back to full guard but De Rick has mounted him! De Rick takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. De Rick prevents Johnson from getting the reversal. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Rick trying to control but he's not successful this time. Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De Rick as he avoids it easily. De Rick darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. De Rick is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Still in half guard, De Rick seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Johnson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Johnson is looking to escape. Johnson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but De Rick pulls his head out easily. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as De Rick sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. De Rick seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Johnson tries for a takedown but De Rick circles away easily and De Rick makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Arne De Rick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Todd Johnson. De Rick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson throws De Rick to one side and escapes! De Rick cracks Johnson with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson with a poor takedown and De Rick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! De Rick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. De Rick throws a body kick that misses. De Rick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson tries for a takedown but De Rick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. De Rick misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. De Rick looks to land a combination. Johnson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Johnson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, De Rick has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Johnson is working for an americana but De Rick has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Johnson was thinking about the submission. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arne De Rick dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Todd Johnson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A right-left combo lands from De Rick. Johnson fails with the takedown and De Rick counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by De Rick.

The cut above Todd Johnson's eye is starting to cause him problems now. De Rick is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around? De Rick works over Johnson's head and body with a nice combination. De Rick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! De Rick wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Rick is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back! Johnson is covering up but some of the strikes from De Rick are getting through and doing damage.
De Rick keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.
Todd Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Johnson tries to escape the position.
De Rick is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Johnson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. De Rick is looking to control Johnson but Johnson is wriggling around and keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Arne De Rick showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for De Rick, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Danny Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rand shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meldir as he avoids it easily. Meldir drops Rand with a left and a right! Oh, Rand is hurt - Meldir dives into side control looking to finish!
Rand is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Meldir crunches a massive hammerfist down on Rand - he's out! Meldir Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
