The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by roe.
Sloppy strikes there by roe.
You can see the frustration on Adams's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

roe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Adams tries to buck roe off but roe is having none of it.

roe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Adams pushes roe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, roe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
roe wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Adams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Adams works his foot free and advances to mount.

Adams goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now roe is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that mackin roe will probably get the nod.

Adams goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, roe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Adams but great work by roe.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! roe reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! roe taps out! nice BJJ there by Adams!

Saucedo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Saucedo apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Sacktap looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tylor steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Sacktap is out on his feet! Tylor sets himself and nearly takes Sacktap's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
