 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grue avoids the body shot from Helmsley.
Hunter Helmsley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grue looks to land a combination. Helmsley sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Helmsley misses the shot to the body. Helmsley lands a jab-cross combination.
 It looks like Slugg Grue has been cut. Helmsley walks forward, straight into a front kick from Grue. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Grue changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Helmsley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Helmsley throws a left and a right that both miss
and Grue counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Helmsley wants to sweep here but Grue controlling him for the moment. Grue trying to control but Helmsley is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grue accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Grue is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Helmsley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Helmsley trying to keep a closed guard but Grue is proving a slippery customer.

Grue pushes Helmsley up against the cage in a clinch. Helmsley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grue has him pressed against the cage. Helmsley wants to break the clinch but can't.
Helmsley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Helmsley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Helmsley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Grue is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Helmsley to the mat. Helmsley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Helmsley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Grue controls the pace. Grue trying to control the position from guard on top but Helmsley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grue prevents Helmsley from getting back to his feet. Helmsley keeping moving, preventing Grue from controlling successfully. Helmsley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Grue manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Grue looking to control.
Helmsley wants to control from the top but Grue keeps moving. Helmsley wanted to stand there but Grue had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grue is on top in guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grue controls from within his opponent's guard. Helmsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helmsley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grue is one step ahead there. Grue keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Helmsley's head. Helmsley wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Grue manages to pass to side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helmsley wants to get back to full guard but Grue has mounted him! Grue prevents Helmsley from getting the reversal. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Slugg Grue dominated that round. The cut man is working on Slugg Grue's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Grue. Helmsley connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grue scores with a decent looking hook. Helmsley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Grue counters with a single leg into guard. Helmsley didn't expect that. Grue with a flurry of punches that miss. Grue wants to control from the top but Helmsley keeps moving. Helmsley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Helmsley has his feet on Grue's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hunter Helmsley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Helmsley slips a jab and a cross from Grue.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Helmsley looks to land a right hand but Grue moved out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helmsley tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Grue ducks under a wild hook from Helmsley. Grue slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hunter Helmsley will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Slugg Grue's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Helmsley lands a jab to Grue's midsection. Helmsley misses with a shot to the body and Grue counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Helmsley holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Grue seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Helmsley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Helmsley is trying to stand up here but Grue is controlling him well. Helmsley wants to improve his position but Grue is controlling well.
Helmsley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grue is working away from the top position though. Helmsley tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Grue is taking a breather. Helmsley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Helmsley wants to control but Grue is keeping busy.

Miller gets to his feet. Willie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Oh Willie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Willie walks straight into a right hand from Miller - that's dropped him! Miller jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Willie from any more punishment! Willie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plenipes lands with a slapping head kick. Bravo connects with a looping right hand.
Illacme Plenipes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bravo checks the leg kick nicely there.

Plenipes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bravo finds it's way round the side to connect with Plenipes's head.
