Olbo has chosen When We Ride on our Enemys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Olbo is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Fredric gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Randy Fredric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drew Olbo. Fredric lands a knee to the head.

Spaulding shoots in and drives through. Uchimata sprawls well. Spaulding has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geoffrey Spaulding. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uchimata stuffs the takedown attempt from Spaulding. Spaulding gets slowly back to his feet. Uchimata swings for the body but Spaulding moves out of range.

Mitchell stands up and we're back to a striking position. Kjell Bengtsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mitchell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bengtsson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bengtsson gets back to half guard. Mitchell trying to mount his opponent but Bengtsson defends it.

Horrible takedown by Mitchell or perhaps it was just good defense by Bengtsson which made him look bad. Bengtsson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mitchell walks into a stiff left hand from Bengtsson. Bengtsson tries to clinch but Mitchell is having none of it.
Mitchell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bengtsson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Waller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kulminator misses with a low kick.

and Kulminator counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Waller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kulminator frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Waller is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jung feints and as Sapporo raises his hands in defense, Jung changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sapporo is looking for a triangle but Jung pushes his legs off easily.
Sapporo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jung doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jung manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sapporo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sapporo can't keep his opponent in guard - Jung advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jung controlling the pace. Jung sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sapporo defending well though. Jung wants to pass to mount but Sapporo is defending the position. Sapporo pushes Jung off looking to stand but Jung dives back in and keeps control.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jung connects with a nice short shot to Sapporo's temple. Jung seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jung prevents Sapporo from improving his position. Jung takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sapporo tries to roll over but Jung keeps him under control.
Jung seems to be looking for submissions.
Sapporo looking for submissions off his back. Sapporo is breathing heavily. Jung is nestled in close to Sapporo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jung is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Jung drives through with a takedown into guard. Jung seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jung trying to control but Sapporo is working from the bottom. Sapporo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jung landing rabbit punches to the side of Sapporo's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. Jung is trying to control but can't.

Jung closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

This one could be over very soon! Jung goes limp - he's gone! Sapporo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

That's going to take a lot out of Kindo Suzuki. Suzuki avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Suzuki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Park's waist but Park gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Suzuki off to one side. Park misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hammer doesn't manage to clinch there - Noshikawa circles away.
Noshikawa cracks Hammer with an open hand slap. Hammer throws a right and a left that both miss. Noshikawa misses with a series of wild punches.
