The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hondo lands with a straight right. Von der Rib didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Lancelote Von der Rib has been cut. Von der Rib ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Von der Rib avoids the body shot from Hondo.
Horrible takedown by Von der Rib or perhaps it was just good defense by Hondo which made him look bad. Von der Rib fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hondo lands a big shot that drops Von der Rib! Can he finish him?
Von der Rib is rocked! Von der Rib has an active guard here but Hondo has managed to pass into half guard.
Oh Von der Rib is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Von der Rib is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hondo pulls his head out easily. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hondo lands a nice short elbow. Hondo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Hondo decides to stand up. Hondo fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Von der Rib to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Von der Rib looks to clinch but Hondo throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Von der Rib taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sousa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Machita knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sousa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sousa wants to control but Machita is keeping him busy. Sousa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Machita is trying to buck Sousa off. Sousa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Machita has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machita is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sousa is controlling him well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sousa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machita is fending him off so far but Sousa persists. Nope, Machita circles away and we're back to standing. Ryoto Machita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luan Sousa. Sousa tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Machita counters with a head kick. Machita lands with a slapping head kick. Sousa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sousa is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Machita won't allow Sousa to pass to mount. Sousa wants to take a breather but Machita is having none of it. Sousa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Machita doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sousa. Machita actively working from the bottom here. Sousa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sousa tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Machita. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luan Sousa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Machita looks to land a combination but Sousa avoids it well. Machita bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sousa's head backwards. Sousa shoots and misses and Machita moves into the clinch. Machita breaks the clinch.

Machita smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ryoto Machita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machita cracks Sousa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A head kick misses from Machita. Sousa fails in his attempt to clinch. Machita thows a left - swing and a miss! Machita looks to clinch and Sousa counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sousa prevents Machita from breaking the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coelho fails with the takedown. Coelho looks for a takedown but Stone sprawls well. Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stone looks for the body kick but Coelho saw that one coming. Coelho shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teco Coelho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coelho swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coelho moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone tries a head kick but it misses.

Coelho ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Coelho no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Coelho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stone passes Coelho's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Stone sitting and controlling from the half guard. Coelho is looking to escape. Stone is trying to control the action in half guard but Coelho is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Coelho to get to his feet. Stone scoring well with a low kick there.
Coelho is breathing heavily. Stone throws a nice inside leg kick. Stone throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Teco Coelho has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone throws a quick head kick that knocks Coelho silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Stone is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
