The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yrmy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ramis jabs at Yrmy's body. Yrmy tries to clinch up. Ramis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Yrmy is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ramis lands with a cross.
It looks like Pertti Yrmy has been cut. Ramis lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Yrmy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ramis dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Foley. Laaksonen scores with a nice body kick.
Foley is breathing heavily. Laaksonen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Laaksonen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Laaksonen showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laaksonen lands with a punch from half guard. Laaksonen escapes and gets back to his feet. Laaksonen closes the distance and clinches. Laaksonen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Foley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Laaksonen.
Laaksonen tries to pull guard but Foley holds him up against the cage and eventually Laaksonen drops back down to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mannerheim scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. b is trying to control but can't.

b has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. b bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mannerheim's guard. b looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. b avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
b is in close to Mannerheim's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mannerheim has his feet on b's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mannerheim is trying to get back to full guard. Mannerheim knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. b looks gassed! b is trying to work for a kimura but Mannerheim is defending well.

That's better than Mannerheim was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! b is desperately trying to improve his position but Mannerheim has a good base and remains in mount. Mannerheim stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Mannerheim throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Niko b has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mannerheim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by b. Mannerheim goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mannerheim with a lazy takedown attempt and b counters with a takedown into side control. Mannerheim gets back to half guard. Mannerheim moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. b tries to free his leg and advance position but Mannerheim is retaining full guard. Mannerheim wants to sweep but no luck. Mannerheim looking for a guillotine here but b defends easily.

Mannerheim had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. b is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mannerheim Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take b's back instead. b rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Mannerheim takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. b is concentrating on defense, preventing Mannerheim from advancing position. Mannerheim is looking to take a break and control but b is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. b trying to hold on to Mannerheim's head to control him but Mannerheim postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kuutamo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kuutamo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kuutamo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burton's face.
Kuutamo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kuutamo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Burton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burton is looking to improve his position but Kuutamo isn't that keen on the idea. Kuutamo is in the full mount, landing strikes. Burton wants to control but Kuutamo is having none of it. Burton gets back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Burton won't allow Kuutamo to pass to mount. Kuutamo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Burton keeping hold of Kuutamo's head, controlling as best he can. Burton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kuutamo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kuutamo's back! Burton controlling from the back. Burton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kuutamo for as long as he can get away with. Kuutamo has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
You can see the frustration on Kuutamo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Kuutamo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Burton fails with the takedown letting Kuutamo counter with a right hand. Burton circles away from the clinch attempt.

Burton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuutamo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kuutamo is looking for a sweep. Burton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuutamo on the ground. Burton trying to control the action but Kuutamo is working from the bottom. Kuutamo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burton works his way into full mount! Burton controlling the position easily from mount. Burton cracks Kuutamo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Joshua Burton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kuutamo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Burton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Burton wants to control the pace but Kuutamo is squirming around nicely. Burton looking to control and managing it successfully. Burton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jensen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jensen showed some decent athleticism there. Ohallahan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jensen moves into the clinch. Ohallahan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Ohallahan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jensen up against the cage. Still in the clinch, Ohallahan scores with a nice short uppercut. Ohallahan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Klingler or perhaps it was just good defense by do Carmo which made him look bad. do Carmo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Klingler counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. No luck for Klingler with that takedown attempt. Klingler looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Klingler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Klingler wants to work for an arm triangle but do Carmo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Klingler shoots for a double leg takedown but do Carmo sprawls well. He's pushed Klingler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaus Klingler. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Klingler forces his way into half guard. Klingler tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Klingler wants to control but do Carmo is keeping him busy. Klingler stands up and we're back to a striking position. do Carmo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Klingler throws a jab but it's blocked by do Carmo. do Carmo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Klingler's hands. Klingler moves away from the strike by do Carmo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. do Carmo avoids the head kick by Klingler.
do Carmo tries for a takedown but Klingler circles away easily and Klingler counters with a nice double leg into side control. do Carmo won't be happy with that. Klingler tries to move into full mount but can't pass do Carmo's legs. do Carmo is not content to let Klingler control the position. do Carmo can't do much from the bottom here. do Carmo prevents Klingler from improving position. do Carmo struggling a bit here. Klingler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. do Carmo is looking to regain half guard here but Klingler keeps moving and retains side control. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Klingler has managed to free his arm - good work. Klingler is trying to control but can't.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. do Carmo misses with a takedown attempt and Klingler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Klaus Klingler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gibson do Carmo. Klingler moves forwards but do Carmo connects with a nice, crisp jab. do Carmo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. do Carmo misses with a wild body shot. Klingler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. do Carmo tries to avoid it but Klingler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag do Carmo to the ground. do Carmo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. do Carmo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Klingler misses with a takedown attempt and do Carmo counters with a single leg into guard. Klingler didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaus Klingler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Klingler had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. do Carmo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. A much better position for do Carmo. do Carmo keeping moving, preventing Klingler from controlling successfully.
