Torpedo comes to the cage accompanied by She is Beautiful- Andrew W.K.. James Thompson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torpedo misses with a few strikes there.
A punch lands to the side of Thompson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Thompson walks into a left hand. Thompson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Torpedo misses with a two punch combination.
Torpedo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Torpedo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thompson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Thompson swinging wilding here.
Thompson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Thompson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thompson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Torpedo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Thompson looks gassed! Thompson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Torpedo swinging wilding here.
Torpedo lands a left and a right that sends Thompson crashing to the canvas! Torpedo dives into mount looking to finish!
 Thompson is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Torpedo postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Thompson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Torpedo and the fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn shoots for a takedown but Plumberg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Penn misses with a straight left. Some wild striking there from Penn.
Plumberg tries to clinch up. Plumberg attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Penn keeps the fight on the outside. Penn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Plumberg moves in looking to clinch but Penn pushes him off. Plumberg has his takedown stuffed
and Penn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Plumberg won't be happy with that. Plumberg pushes Penn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Penn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Plumberg tries to buck Penn off but Penn is having none of it. Plumberg manages to get back to half guard. Plumberg tries to roll over but Penn keeps him under control. Penn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Plumberg's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Penn is looking to take a break and control but Plumberg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Penn not landing any meaningful shots this time. Plumberg is trying to maintain the position but Penn is very close to passing his half guard.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Plumberg closes the distance and clinches up with Penn, looking for a takedown. Plumberg pushes Penn against the cage but Penn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Plumberg with a poor takedown
and Penn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Plumberg's guard. Georges Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Plumberg. Plumberg looks gassed! Plumberg is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Penn stopping the sweep attempt from Plumberg. Plumberg controls Penn momentarily but Penn frees himself.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Penn trying to control but Plumberg is working from the bottom. Penn wants to stand but Plumberg has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Penn with a flurry of punches that miss.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plumberg swats him away and circles back towards the center. Penn tries to clinch but Plumberg moves out of range.

Penn clinches up with Plumberg and pushes him back against the cage.
Penn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plumberg uses from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penn is on top in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Penn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Plumberg looking for a sweep. Not yet Plumberg, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Plumberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Penn thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plumberg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Plumberg is trying to keep Penn in close.
Penn is working Plumberg over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Penn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Penn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Penn looking to finish Plumberg with some ground and pound. This is bad for Plumberg! Plumberg tries to reverse the position but Penn maintains control. Penn trying to control but Plumberg is having none of it. Penn avoids the attempt from Plumberg to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Georges Penn dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Penn rushes Plumberg and presses him up against the cage. Plumberg takes an elbow to the forehead. Plumberg jumps guard but Penn stands there with Plumberg around his waist. Plumberg gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Plumberg swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Penn prevents Plumberg from breaking the clinch. Penn softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Penn lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Plumberg.
Penn pulls guard effortlessly. Plumberg controls from within his opponent's guard. Plumberg wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving. Penn working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Plumberg advances position into side control! Plumberg prevents Penn from escaping the position. Penn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Penn actively working from the bottom here. Penn misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Plumberg has his hands clasped together around Penn's back. He's all about the action. Penn lands strikes from half guard. Plumberg makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Plumberg.

Penn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice takedown defense from Plumberg. No joy for Penn on that attempt.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Plumberg has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penn finds it's way round the side to connect with Plumberg's head. Plumberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Plumberg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penn, pushing him back against the cage. Plumberg looking to stall.
Plumberg tries to score a body lock takedown but Penn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Penn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A big left from Plumberg misses. Penn is looking to clinch. Plumberg fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Penn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Penn cracks Plumberg with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Plumberg gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a left to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Georges Penn dominated that second round. That's time! Penn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Penn throws a nice looking combination but Plumberg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Plumberg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Penn circles away. Penn tries to clinch there but Plumberg circles away.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Plumberg is retaining full guard. Plumberg throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Plumberg throws a wild left hand from mount and Penn manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Penn wants to get back to full guard. Plumberg prevents Penn from standing back up.

Plumberg drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Plumberg trying to control the position but Penn is working away. Georges Penn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

and Penn counters with a single leg into guard. Plumberg didn't expect that. Plumberg looking to control.
Plumberg uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Georges Penn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Plumberg with a poor takedown letting Penn counter with a right hand.
Penn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plumberg has hold of Penn's hands but Penn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Plumberg makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Plumberg. Plumberg has momentary wrist control but Penn slips an elbow through the middle.
And that's the end of the fight! Georges Penn showed his dominance in that final round. Well Penn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Abernethy misses the target. Abernethy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wray paws at him with a jab and circles away. Abernethy tries to score with a low kick but Wray moves his leg out of the way. Abernethy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Abernethy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wray moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abernethy dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Abernethy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Abernethy tries to clinch up.

 Persbrandt is rocked! Mum tries to bum rush Persbrandt with a series of wild strikes but Persbrandt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mum throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mum lands a two punch combo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Persbrandt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mum as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
