The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAlister fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches smith on the side of the head.
smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McAlister finds it's way round the side to connect with smith's head.
McAlister goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McAlister scores with a hook to the body. smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McAlister lands a glancing blow to the side of smith's head.
smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McAlister pinned against the cage. McAlister gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McAlister cracks smith with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

McAlister sizes up smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
