Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kang Lu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zeus Megadon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu shoots for a double leg takedown but Megadon sprawls well. He's pushed Lu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lu shoots in looking for a takedown. Megadon tries to sprawl out of it but Lu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Megadon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Zeus Megadon has been cut.
Megadon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lu shoots in and bounces Megadon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Megadon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lu is one step ahead there.
Lu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Megadon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lu wants to control from the top but Megadon keeps moving.
Lu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Megadon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lu manages to get himself to full guard.

Megadon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Megadon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Megadon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nappula tries to avoid it but Tyre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nappula to the ground. Nappula escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tyre crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nappula - the referee stops the clock and Tyre gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nappula. Tyre manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The Judge moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Clayton Kosh has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kosh throws the left hand but The Judge avoids the punch easily.
Kosh closes the distance and clinches up with The Judge, looking for a takedown. Kosh pushes The Judge against the cage but The Judge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kosh shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kosh thuds his right hand into The Judge's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The Judge misses with a wild combination.
The Judge throws a big shot that misses.
Kosh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Judge.
No luck for Kosh with that takedown attempt.
Kosh has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kosh there as he acknowledges the shot.
The Judge looks to land a combination but Kosh avoids it well.

The Judge uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kosh has time to react.

Kosh bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps The Judge's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kosh wants to clinch up but The Judge keeps it at a distance.
Kosh throws a lazy right hand but The Judge sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kosh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The Judge lands a nice shot to the body.
Kosh is trying desperately to land a takedown but The Judge is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kosh.

The Judge swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kosh.

The Judge is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Kosh goes for a takedown in the clinch but The Judge prevents it.

Kosh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The Judge fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kosh moves forwards but The Judge connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Clayton Kosh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Clayton Kosh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

McButterPantZ lands with some strikes.
